Majesty A. Collins

My head nodded along to the song that was booming throughout the house. Keiara and I showed up to the party a hour ago, and it's honestly lit. Drinks were being downed like crazy, weed was being passed, and sweaty bodies were pressed against each other.

I stood in the corner of the humongous basement with a lipstick stained red solo cup pressed to my lips. Keiara was socializing and playing beer pong with a bunch of guys covered in tattoos.

Everyone got even more hype when THat Part blasted through the speakers.

"Me no conversate with the fake, that part. All my bitches independent bitches, that part." I sung lowly.

My mood would've been better if I knew Ford was at my apartment and safe.

Tonight I just want to drink until my memories fade.

I made my way up the stairs and back to the kitchen. Gazing at all the bottles of alcohol, I decided on Hennessy. I wanted to get drunk, but at the same time I didn't want to. I wanted to forget things for the night but I don't want to wake up with the consequences.

I pressed the cup to my lips while making my way to the living room. The living room looked exactly the same as the basement. It was filled with drunk and high people dancing on each other. Some even made out while half naked. It's not surprising, especially at a New York hood party. I sat alone in the middle of the stairs. I didn't care to talk to anyone right now. I'm starting to wish I just stayed home on the couch.

Taking another sip of the Hennessy, my face scrunched up as my throat had a burning sensation. I didn't like liquor that much, I was more of a wine or beer girl.

Glancing around the room, I found myself locking eyes with a light skin guy with a red SnapBack. His eyes stayed on me as he conversed with a few guys and girls that surrounded him. Eventually one of the guys he was talking to turned around and made eye contact with me. I quickly looked away, but only for a few seconds. When my eyes gazed back in his direction the guy in the red SnapBack was eyeing me down once again.

My face heated up as he began to make his way in my direction after saying something to the guys beside him. I used the wall to help put me back on my feet. Before I knew it, we were face to face. And that's when it clicked.. This is the guy I keep running into.

His eyes were red, just like they always are when I see him.

His eyes took me in before a small grin appeared on his face. I took the time to take him in also. He was dressed in a simple white t-shirt and jeans, with his red hat to top it off. Tattoos were inked all over his bright skin. I'm not usually attracted to tattoos, but his seemed to interest me.

"I just keep seeing you." He chuckled deeply. God, even his chuckle is attractive.

I felt my cheeks heat up once again. His words come out so smoothly, and the way he's looking at me makes me feel... I don't even know what adjective he makes me feel. He just makes me feel.

"If I knew you would be here I would've brought your jacket." I spoke above the music.

His eyes squinted as he once again chuckled. He leaned against the wall, never taking his low eyes off of me. It was evident he wasn't in his right mind, but he knew what he was doing. He isn't that gone.
