@ the people who thought the book was almost over. 😭

Omniscient.

An old Mariah Carey song played quietly throughout the bedroom as Majesty made a habitat under the blankets on the bed she hasn't left in days. Soft knocks erupted from the door but she refused to move. She's been in this spot for the past week.

After spending an entire week in the hospital because of the situation her husband caused, the doctor tried to send her to a rehab for 'being suicidal'. She denied the offer and explained that she isn't suicidal. Of course Majesty isn't, but the doctor doesn't know that. After all, her DNA was found on the needle that made her overdose. What she doesn't know is that Alex wrapped her hands around the needle in hope to get rid of his DNA.

Majesty may not remember much but she knows for sure that she would never inject Demerol into her bloodstream. She has never even heard of Demerol until she woke up in a foreign hospital.

"Majesty?" More knocks could be heard as Keiara's soft, but worried voice called her friends's name. Eventually she gave up with knocking and just entered the room. After all, it is her apartment. "Maj.. How are you feeling?"

Majesty stayed still and showed no sign of removing the covers from her face. She refuses to look at Keiara. She doesn't want anyone to see her bloodshot eyes, pale face, and messy hair. Well, the messy hair she has no problem with. She looks weak, she feels weak... she doesn't want her one and only friend to believe she is weak.

"Why?" Majesty muffled into the soft pillow. "You want to know if I'm feeling suicidal?" Majesty would chuckle, but she couldn't. She sounded so bitter.. But who wouldn't sound bitter?

"I-I don't think you're suicidal.." Keiara rested her hand on her friend's leg as her words came out shaky.

Everyone has been afraid to talk to Majesty. They're afraid to say the wrong thing. They think that one word will make her snap. The thing is, she is not suicidal. Depressed? Maybe.

"Please leave me alone." Majesty choked through tears.

"You're not coming to school again?" She questioned with disappointment in her voice.

Majesty hasn't been to school since the week before her birthday, that makes three weeks. Three weeks without showing her face to her worried teachers. Word had gotten out that she suffered from an overdose. Who would want to show their face after that got out? No one knows the full story, not even Majesty. Her peers and teachers all assume that she's some druggy. Except for one person: Ms. Bennet.
