Austin went to heather and started talking to her. “Why did you do that candy?” derrick asked. “Did what? “I asked. “Candy don’t play dumb with me I know you love Austin ok?” derrick said which made my face turn red. “Look at you, it’s so obvious” he said. “Is it?” I asked looking at the floor. “of course it is but Austin’s blind. You love him but he never gets it” he said. “It’s alright derrick, he’ll never understand I just want him to be happy. Look at him and heather they’re so meant to be with each other and I don’t want to ruin his happiness.” I told him looking away. Derrick was quiet until Austin came over with heather,” guys meet my girlfriend” he said smiling. His smile was priceless. Heather blushed at the word ‘girlfriend’. I felt so jealous of heather, I wanted to tell Austin that I loved him and he belonged with me.
Austin’s P.O.V
I’m so happy heather said yes. She’s my new girlfriend. I wanna treat her like a princess and tell her how much I love her.She belongs with me.
3 weeks later.
CAMERON’S P.O.V
There was the announcement today in school. The announcement that Austin and I had waited till the seventh grade. 'The Emory Engineering ‘Scholarship announcement. There were two scholarships given to 2 of the students of our college who scored the highest marks for the test which was to be answered for the scholarship. Austin and I always dreamt of this scholarship – both of us wanted to become engineers and prosper- derrick had always wanted to be a doctor- weird because he was bad at chemistry and biology. But this was the time we had to be answering the test for the scholarship. Austin came to me running;” candy?Heard the announcement?” I nodded. “We’re so gonna get them” he said hugging me.

It was just 3 days left for the test. I was just wandering around when I saw heather talking to someone on the phone
The conversation:
Yes mom! I’m trying my best to keep Austin away from his studies. I can’t distract Cameron but Austin’s totally into me. I’m gonna get the scholarship by hook or by crook mom and I will get it I promise... Yeah right mom I’ll try my best to make him fail.
