Derrick’s P.O.V

Austin is heartbroken. It was like his whole world came crumbling down. Sometime I would check up oh him but He wouldnt say much. I felt like  a horrible friend. I should have told him the truth.

***FLASHBACK*****

I ran to candy at the airport. “hey candy w-wait” when she froze.  she turned around looling at me with her bloodshot eyes” Derrick go away” she closed her eyes breathing heavily. “You loved him so much so that you gave up your dream for him? Why did you do that” I asked her “he needed the scholarship to fulfill his dreams derr. So –“I embraced her in a tight hug” so did you candy. You and Austin wanted that scholarship together and you guys dreamt of it since the seventh grade”i heard her sigh “I know but I couldn’t let him stay behind derr, please understand” she buried her face in the crook of my shoulder and sniffed. “That bastard doesn’t even know that he loves you and you are risking all this for him” I muttered. "Flight no. 468 to England in boarding in five minutes" The speakers boomed and Candy drew back. “I’m sorry derrick, I gotta go, my flight’s about to board I can’t miss it. There’s a new life waiting for me out there.” She smiled sadly. “Candy please don’t go. Austin will be here soon” I pleaded. “I have to go Derrick, please take care of yourself and  Austin too – goodbye” just then her flight announcement was made again. She grimaced and turned around, I caught her wrist, “A goodbye hug could work right now” I sniffed trying to hold back the tears. I would miss this girl way too much. "Ofcourse moron" she wiped her tears and embraced me. “Please promise me that you won’t tell him I met you. Please derrick” she muttered quietly.I nodded "i wont" i sighed.

AUSTIN’S P.O.V

It’s been six months candy has left me. I finished my training – of the scholarship I’d got. And now I’m working as an engineer. There’s no day I stay without thinking of her. After she left, everything changed. I stopped going out to parties, i stopped going out in general. Mom tried to help me cheer up and go out but i was too far gone to come back. She tried to talk to me but I would.quietly nod or answer a yes or a no. Derrick’s been a really good friend. He stays over some times to check on me or to cheer me up.  I am trying my best to find where candy is- I check online every day, I try to call but in vain. I realized how she loved me and I was too late to say it back. I wanted to run back to her and tell her i loved her. I missed her way too much.

Cameron’s P.O.V

Its six months I’m here settled in England with Aunt Kelly. I hardly see her; she’s always busy with all the meetings she talks about. I’m a fashion designer. I know weird right? But lately I’ve learned to make it my passion. Aunt Kelly helped me open my own boutique with all of my new designs. My assistant- Lilly is become my best friend. I think about Austin every second of my day wondering how he would have been living his life out there in California. I miss derrick too. I’ve learned to adjust myself here in England but I can’t forget him. I miss his hazel brown eyes, his kissable lips, his cheeky smile and basically everything about him. But i still haven't forgotten what he did though. Besides that, I’m having a luxurious life out here. I earn enough and go clubbing with Lilly every week.

Derrick’s P.O.V

It’s been six months and Austin is not recovering. I told him everything about candy –  not the airport part but the part that she liked him, loved him even. I go over to check on him and I try my best to cheer him up. He’s always online finding ways to find candy. He told me about his feelings for her. I wasn't brave enough to tell him that I met her at the airport and the whole thing is.driving me crazy.

I decided to hang out with Austin today.  I went over just to see him packing his suitcase. “Austin, where are you going?” I asked wide eyed” England “came the quick reply. “Are you gone crazy and why are you going to England?” I looked at him like he had grown three heads. “ I found her man , I finally did and I wanna go tell her how much I missed her and that I love her” he smiled for the  first time in six months“- and by the way it’s not only me – both of us. There’s your ticket and the flight is in 6 hours so go pack up” he handed me the ticket. I was so overwhelmed “about time man. I’m so happy we’re finally gonna see her”
‘yeah I know” Austin smiled. After the great news I went back home and started packing my stuff. And finally Austin and I headed towards the airport.
