CAMERON’S P.O.V

In that moment everything felt so perfect. It was like-fireworks coming out of my stomach. After the kiss he slowly came close to my ear and whispered, “I love you so much” as I smiled. Just then Austin’s phone rang he stayed here in the same position with me as he picked the call,”derrick what the hell is wrong with you stop calling so many times. “ he said irritated and then replies,” ok you’re on loud speaker” he said and I heard Lilly’s voice, “Cameron I hope you don’t have any plans of going for work today as I have the keys, I’m so sorry I forgot to return them to you yesterday” she said. “It’s ok Lilly I won’t go there now” I replied “oh god! That’s great, I’ll see ya “she said and hung up. “I like Lilly- from today she’s my best friend” Austin said sliding the phone in his pocket. “Why” I asked. “Because she took the keys along with her” he replied. “But I’m still going back home” I said –not wanting him to win. “who’s driving you home?” he asked, “don’t worry I can go by a cab” I replied, “who’s letting you go out of this house or even out of my grip “ he said tightening his grip. ‘’Who said I can’t escape your grip” I said trying to push him away with all my might but in vain. “I said so” he said giving me his cute smile. “-and how long are you gonna stay like this?” I asked resting my hands on his chest, “forever” came the reply. “Let me go” I said, “nope” he said. “Ok how about a deal” I offered. “Bring it on” he said. “Ok if you let me go now I’ll go to dinner with you tonight” I said, “-and a free sleepover here” he added. “No it’s just a dinner” I protested. “Then I’m not letting you go anywhere.” he said, “I won’t mind staying like this” I said as I folded my arms and stood there in his grip. “Forever?” he asked raising an eyebrow “shut up – tell me when you are letting me go”“until you agree to come with me to for a date and then a sleepover here at my house.” he replied. “Urghhh…. ok fine you win” “so date and sleepover?” “No? Dinner and sleepover” I corrected him. “It’s a date” he winked as he left me.

Austin reached me home and decided to pick me up for the so called ’date’ later. I decided to go to sleep and rest.

Later when I woke up I saw Lilly in the living room watching TV. “Hey’’ she greeted “hey- so how was the date with derrick” I asked.”Awesome” she replied. “So you guys are together or something?” I said. “Yeah” she blushed. “And how did it go with Austin” “i- uh… nice- he said he’s taking me out for dinner tonight” I said nervous to what her reaction will be. “What?” she jumped out as I scratched the back of my neck. “Omigosh you guys are dating? oh I’m so happy for you” she said hugging me, “no way we’re not dating-“ _then why did he call you on a date?” she asked “it’s not a date Lilly” I said folding my arms. “No it is” she protested. “That’s your opinion” I said. “No that’s the truth “she shot back ‘’whatever” I said rolling my eyes.
