AUSTIN’S P.O.V

God what am I supposed to do? She heard the recording,” that was the recording you showed Lilly and derrick?  How did you even do that.” she said angrily, “because you were drunk and you were firing all sorts of stuff and that was one of them” I blurted out. “how could you, you’re a jerk Austin I so wanna stab you in the heart now” she said,” delete it now” she demanded. “No that’s my cellphone I’ll decide what to do with it” I protested. She came running as I ran faster. She tried chasing me down the living room when she was tired she stopped and started breathing heavily. “Tired so soon?” I asked giving her a grin. “No? I never get tired” she said. “Yeah I know its ok. Let’s rest. I’m tired”. We both sat down on the sofa breathing heavily. Finally we stopped and I switched the TV on. I saw her still staring at my phone,” you won’t get it” I said looking in the front she quickly turned away. I switched the channels to find a nice movie I finally stopped when titanic came on. Both of us watched the movie for a while when suddenly candy fell asleep on the couch. She looked so pretty when she was asleep. I didn’t wanna disturb her so I switched off the TV.  Just then my phone rang and the same recording repeated which awaked her. Dammit! I was having such a nice view. I picked up the call. “What is it derrick? Will you just stop calling me” I said angrily. “Sorry dude just wanted to check on you guys” he said. “Yeah right since when did you become my mother?” I said sarcastically. “Ok- ok sorry to disturb you man” he said cutting the call. At the corner of my eyes I saw candy and within no time she pounced on me for the phone.

“Candy just stop it” I said fighting to get my phone back but she didn’t stop. After a long fight I finally gave it to her. She stuck her tongue out at me to declare her victory. “I can take that back if I want” I said. “No you can’t” he said. “Oh really?”  I asked. “Yeah“she said smiling more than ever. Then she tried opening it “shit Austin what is the password- your phone is locked” she complained. “Is it?  Actually I forgot my password” I fake smiled. “Why don’t you just tell me- please?” she pouted. “Why do you do that?” I asked. “Do what?” she shot back “that” I said “what?” she asked. “You make that cute face and then expect me not give it to you” I said.

CAMERON’S P.O.V

“Give it here” he said. He removed the password and handed the phone to me. I was so happy so much that I went and hugged him;“thank you” I said giving him a kiss on his cheek to which he smiled. I quickly deleted the recording and randomly sat on the couch playing with his cellphone. He didn’t seem to mind. “You just kissed me on my cheeks” he said smiling. “No?” I protested. “Yes you did” he said. “No I didn’t” and then I realized I was wrong and I looked at him, “yeah ok fine I kissed you because you gave me the phone so what?” I asked feeling defeated,” nothing what did I say?” he shot back. we stayed quiet for a while when suddenly Austin said,” so, you’re talking to me right?” he asked pouting, “Yeah?” I replied. I saw his smile grew. “so how about we go out to lunch somewhere- like somewhere nice and decent” he asked to which I replied, “no Austin, sitting erect and eating with fork and knife so patiently makes me irritated- I don’t wanna come” Austin sighed” ok-ok fine we’ll go to a fast food restaurant –like for a pizza date or something?” he offered. “Awesome that’s more like it” I said. “You’ve not changed at all” he said. “Yeah I know that- but you’ve changed – like a lot” I said. “All because of you” he murmured under his breath. “What? Did you say something?” I asked “uh… did you hear something?” he asked I gave him a confused look, “whatever you heard must be right” he winked. I looked away.

In the afternoon Austin took me to a fast food restaurant. we went to one of the tables,”it’s a date” he said pulling out a chair for me to sit, “thanks” I said “-and about the date thing? We’ll talk about that later.” I said. Just then the waitress came,” you’re order please?” she smiled at him- it was obvious that she was totally over him. “Uh… how about you asked her first” he said looking at me. “Um… a barbeque pizza with extra cheese please” I said and she wrote it down, “and you sir?” she smiled. “Um… nothing- will you mind sharing that with me candy?” he asked me. “No I won’t” I smiled.
