Love Or Success?

Chapter 2

In first chapter I have addressed them as HE n SHE becz i wasnt able to find names . Now I have decided and they will be like:

Shreya- A brilliant and cute , chubby girl studying in mumbai university. Future Engineer . Dream of studying abroad. Independent. Funloving! Want to njoy life but without using her parents money. Although financially they have high class family but still down to earth people .

Shaila- Shreyas-> shreya's Mom Dad - Parents of new generation cool dude types! Have Only one daughter and loves her to infinity!

Ujjwala: Akash's mother . A cheerful educated lady. Her husband left them as he fell for some other lady. She accepted it coz she believes in love and happiness of others specially her husband whom she loved!  She didnt want to be hurdle against his life .. She alone brought up Akash without making him crave for anything!

Akash: A handsome and scholar boy. No less than nerd . But that makes him attractive. A Mechanical engineer who is currently busy in saving money for his masters degree to be achieved in oxford university.
Belongs to a middle class family . Cheerful and friendly. Never been with any girl. Carrier Oriented .
(And i dont remember what else to tell.. u will get to know him throughout the story)

Akash:(POV)
I was finally an engineer and in a technical firm at good post. I was parallelly keeping watch on the admision tasks taking place in OXFORD. I was getting better in my feild . All i was dreaming was to be a PHD ..

Shreya: (POV)I am in third year now.. the final year .. Btech! I am so eager to go abroad.. not only for studying.. but also to njoy my life😃

Days went like wind.. It was shreya's last day in India. She was going to go to Australia- University of Adelaide for higher education.. She was doing her packing while her mom dad  were watching her from outside of room.
Shaila: Are you watching shreyas.. ur shreya have become so old now.. She is actually moving away from us to a new place , a new world for her.
Shreyas: Yes .. but its ok . I am too proud to be her father. She knows we can manage a lavish lifestyle for her overthere .. but her self confidence will always increase my admires for her..  I have never been sentimental towards her as I have always been his cool dude dad.. but today somewhere down my heart.. I am realising of being FATHER .. a responsible person in me is not letting her go alone.. and i know she will cancel her plan for me.. but i dont want to be a reason behind her regrets.

Shaila: (side hugging) Its ok.. we have to let her.. we have never been and nor will be a hurdle towards her happiness..

Shreya realised some whispers behind her and she immediately turned in reflex.. She saw her parents outside and a different feeling came into her.. she have never been this far from them.. and today she is moving to Australia  .. her heart started beating faster and she felt  insecurity of being away from parents .. but after controlling the nostalgia within..She  asked them: What are you both doing there?? Are you waiting for my permission to be granted??
Shaila: No no.. we just came..
Shreyas: So.. DONE?
Shreya: yeah dad almost! And now only these edible stuff is remaining which mom has given.. i dont know why?
Shaila: Arre..who knows u will get vrything over there or not.. thats why I am giving! 
Shreya and shreyas sighed in disbelief..: TYPICAL INDIAN MOTHER.. they said in unison..
Shaila made a bad face showing her annoyance..  and after 5 seconds of silence all turned out laughing..
They all hugged in group  and shreyas went out giving some mom daughter moments.. shaila explained shreya the Do's and Dont's after she shifts and a long lecture.. Shreya also listened calmly and agreed to her and promising that she will always follow them.. and then after lecture session both looked in each others eyes to see the sorrow and hugged tightly.. tears escaped...  They shared emotions in silence..
All this was watched by shreyas who wiped his tears too.. and came in to lighten she situation..
Shreyas: Arre kya filmy family hai.. shreya you still not done.. u know na u hav flight in 2 hours??
Shreya: Dad I think we live in Santacruz.. and that too 15 minutes walking distance from airport .. and in car we need only 5 minutes or lesser.. and i am done.. only this mom is not done.. so chill ! 
Shaila: Haaw.. its too INSANE..u heard that INSANE.. u both na.. go away.. dont talk to me..

Shreya: Sorry sorry sorry sorry.. arree i was kidding baba.. now u will get upset with me on the day of leaving ?

Shaila: No.. its ok.. sorry accepted..

Shreya: Yesss!!

Shaila: And dont worry these blackmails aint gonna work!(sarcasm)

Shreya hangs her head ... sighing she leaves the room.. and shreyas and shaila pathetically smirks on her situation ..

After about half an hour all three leaves for airport ..shreya giving last glance at the home
..
And within a hour flight name announces.. shreya bids a final good bye to her parents taking bunch of dreams with her.. She moves towards her destiny...

The travel timing was of about 13 hours.. Shreya came out of the airport and she was told by her dad that some guy is gonna recieve her and till the time she gets settled  she can stay at the place he provides.. She stepped outof airport to see so  many people standing with a slate of different names.. She was searching for hers when a guy of around her age came and asked:
Shreya mam? Shreya kadam?
Shreya: Yes!
Guy: (smilingly forwarded for  a shake hand) hello mam .. i am Shravan and i am asked to take care of your accomodation  till you get settled..
Shreya:Thankyou so much Shravan  .. glad to see you.. So now what's the plan?
Shravan: Yes I will now drive you to Blue Diamond lodge and you can say their as long as you want..
Soon they left and after checking in..
Shreya: Ohk.. but i wont stay for long.. I will soon try for hostel or some rental place .. i will tommorow go to college and will arrange my stuff..
Shravan: Ok mam. I am aware of your self respect attitude!😃
Shreya:(smiling) Hehe.. not like that .. but yes I want to be independent!
Shravan: No worries mam.. you can be ! I am just told to look after your needs if required.. so do tell me if you need anything!
Shreya: Sure.. thankyou so much!
And Shreya closes the door of her room goes in.. looks towards the ceiling both hands opened..breathes in  and out..and says.. "Welcome new life!!!" And smiles broadly..
Shreya pov:
Today I am here .. finally.. I am on my dream land!I am so excited... yeah i know i wanted to be in oxford.. but this is also one of my favourite university.. I applied to both at same time.. and i will surely try out oxford for some other purpose like Phd..or something.. or whatever.. i am happy being here.. but uff this jetlag.. I BADLY NEED TO TAKE REST😧 BUT ...Before that how can i forget my drama queen And king ..
She removed her laptop and made a video called to mumbai..
H Mom Dad.. m reached!!
Shaila: Pohoch gayi beta? Is everything good there.. no problems na?
Shreyas: You met shravan na..did he come on time to recieve you?
Shreya: which question should i ans first?
Shaila and shreya smiled sheepishy and said: sorry ..U say
Shreya: yeah.. so as I said before I reached safely to Adelaide and tommorow will start up with my college procedures .. so I will be busy and we will chat daily on Whatsapp but i cant call u like this everyday!
Shreyas: Ok beta.. as you wish... and all the best..
Shaila: yeah n take care of urself.. see u look so weak in just few hours!
Shreya: like seriously mom.. how can u do such an overstatement.. stop being a typical indian mother ! 😑
Shaila: hehe ok.. bu take rest.. i am sure u might have got tired with the journey ..
Shreya: True.. i need some.. this jetlag .. i need to get rid of it.. so mom dad Ttyl..
Shreyas: yeah beta  bye..
Shaila: bye.. miss you..
Shreya: ok.. bye i miss u too.. n love you..
And she shutted her laptop kept it aside and stretched her self to remove the laziness.. and slept soon staring at the fan!
