I woke up to the distant sound of Shawn shouting at someone. Sitting up, I got out of the bed, looking around the room to see that there were no boxes at all. I opened the wardrobe that was on my side of the bed and saw that all my clothes were tidily put away.
Wow, Shawn really knows how to have everything put away nicely.
Letting out a quiet laugh I closed the wardrobe door and decided to go downstairs to see what Shawn was shouting about.
"Katie had a panic attack, mum! She's not ready for this! It's coming at her all at once and it's too much for her to handle!" He shouted from the kitchen, sounding extremely pissed off.
Deciding to listen to him for a bit longer I stood on the stairs, smiling at how much he seemed to care for me.
"You know what, mum? If you think that just because she's fine now, means that everything is fine, you're wrong!" He ended the call and slammed his phone down on the kitchen island.
I peeked around the door and saw Shawn with his elbows on the island, his hands pulling at his hair.
"Shawn?" I asked, making him quickly look up at me. "What's going on?"I questioned, even though I knew exactly what he he was talking about.
"Are you okay?" He asked, avoiding my question and walking over to me.
"I'm good. I wanna go somewhere though."
"Do you want to go get dinner then?"
"Dinner?! How long was I asleep for!?" I asked, looking around the kitchen for a clock.
"Seven hours." Shawn laughed. "So do you want to go for dinner now? It's half three."
"Umm sure. Can we get pizza?"
"Whatever you want." Shawn smiled "I'll just go get my jacket. I'll get yours too."
He ran up the stairs and came back a minute later with both our jackets and my shoes.
"Here you go."
"Thanks Shawn." I put on my jacket and shoes and stood up. Shawn got his keys from the hall table and opened the door.
I walked outside and hopped into Shawn's car and then we headed towards the pizza 'restaurant' if you would call it that. When we parked the car and were about to get out it hit me that there might be fans inside.
"Shawn?" I asked. "What will we say if there's fans in there and they ask who I am?"
"If you want, for now, we can just tell them we're friends." He answered, his hand still on the handle of the door, getting ready to open it.
"Okay then. That's fine." I smiled, opening the door and getting out of the car.
We walked inside and up to the cash register where they take the orders.
"So, Whatcha want on your pizza?" Shawn questioned.
"Can we get pepperoni and ham?"
"Of course." Shawn then turned to the young man behind the register and gave him the order.
Shawn payed and we sat down at the table that was the farthest away from everyone. We didn't really have anything to talk about so we both sat there in a slightly awkward silence, Shawn and I both scrolling through random apps on our phones.
