Introduction

My name is Celine and I am a vampire.

I do drink blood but I don't need to kill anyone to satisfy my thirst. If you think I'm a hundred years old vampire, well I'm not. I just turned 18th last July and was a new born vampire. Maybe I'm the last vampire on earth.

This year, vampire only lives in books and movies. They shouldn't be seen drinking coffee at Starbucks while reading Twilight. They can't stay under the heat of the sun for a long hours and if they do, they will turn into a dust. But no, I'm still here sitting under the heat of the sun outside Starbucks while reading Twilight Saga.

Vampires should love staying late at night than at daylight. They need to hunt to survive and they need blood to satisfy their thirst. But I love bacon than blood. Should I still consider myself a human than a vampire?

I read a series of books about vampire to know more about their lifestyle and how they survive throughout their life. I'm not a fan of vampire when I was still a human so I need a reference from all the fiction books about them. About us rather.

That's where I found Thirst series by Christopher Pike. It's all about Sita who became a vampire because Yaksha created her to be one. Unlike other vampires even a newborn vampire, Sita can survive without drinking blood for a week or staying without sleep at night or days. She's the strongest among all the vampire when she drinks the blood of Yaskha, his creator. But I'm not like her. I'm a coward. I'm afraid of being like this and I'm scared that I might end up killing someone.

My life shouldn't be like this if the last vampire I met didn't save me. But he did. He did save me and now, I'm the last vampire on earth.
