Chapter 1

I ran for the door on the opposite side of the deck  the cold dark sea water gaining behind me. I lost my footing but got straight back up again.  As I grabbed the doors valve I span it clock wise as fast as I could feeling the strain in my arms. I managed to slide it open and in front of me stood a tall pale figure. 

The man stood in front of me was in his twenties and in a navel suit like I was wearing. Blood was all over his clothes and he had bite marks all over him then I realized he was infected. I quickly grabbed him by the arm and his head and with all my might I flung him to the deck behind me.

 I quickly locked the door as the infected man climbed to his feet as fast as he could he reached for the door as I slammed it in his face. I looked around the dark hallway sound of scurryings all around in every room and the moaning was horrifying I quickly noticed a SA-80 laying on the floor about twenty feet from me.

I pushed my self forward.. I ran for the gun. I was getting closer and closer to it and I quickly turned to see what was behind me and I gasped. fifteen or even twenty infected men were there I lifted the gun in a flash and aimed and pulled the trigger..... the sound of the spring not hitting anything. Means I was dry no ammo to shoot I had no choice but to run.

I seen a door just in my reach I could make it. I pushed on working my legs faster than I have ever done before. Time slowed down I listened and I could hear the screaming of the infected on my tail and the pounding feet on the metal floor. Suddenly the ship gave a creak you could hear the bolts on the ship tighten.

Then the ship pulled a tight left turn as it hit a huge rock port side and it sent the infected and me into the wall on the left. I still was fixed on the door so I kept running to it then I realized it was connected to the bow of the ship. I ran straight through and turned around when I reached the end we were on a collision coarse we were going to crash. I quickly jumped over and into the sea with the infected behind me.......
