She opened the news paper and wasn't surprise at all to see her and Edwards news. It finally had a perfect picture of their holding hands no more blur and this time it wasn't mystery girl anymore. The headline says
"EDWARD STUN FINALLY SHOWED OUT...... IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH INDIAN WRITER KNIGHT"
She was happy to see the headline as it didn't have any offence against her or Edward as it had the previous time.
She didn't bother to read the rest of the story and took the newspaper to Edward who was playing the guitar.
She went and sat beside him.
"hey you read this? "
She asked
Edward turned and saw the newspaper on her hand.
"no.... Didn't have a look"
He said still tangling with the strings of the guitar.
"just read it, I guess it has some really good stuff"
She handed over the paper to him.
She went away for some coffee and he started reading it.
After a while when she came back with two cups of coffee she saw him dialing a number and it was understood by his face that he was annoyed.
This made her a bit nervous.
" W.. What happened? "
She asked
"just read it....... , I mean why always these reporters have to print some annoying utterly false stuffs"
He said in an angry tone.
She kept the cup and took the newspaper. Early in the morning when she read the headlines she was quiet positive that it wont have anything towards negativity so she didn't read the whole and wanted Edward to read it first, but now that there had been something serious she had to read it.
After going through the whole story she equally felt annoyed but it was not on the reporters but on herself.
As every negative remark revolved around her.
The story even posted some interviews with the fans present there who openly threw questions like
"Will Edward be able to manage both?"
"Is he mixing his professional life with his personal life"
" I heard that Edward Stun postponed his recording for her"
"I think he has forgotten that he is having a star life too"
These were the pinching questions that were thrown towards them and none of them were false. He was actually devoting most of his time for her, which definitely made her upset as he was eventually loosing his fame or maybe becoming a home person.
Two days before the boys had a recording but Edward forcefully postponed it because he became adamant to accompany her to the doctor as she had a checkup. She asked him not to come but he wasnt ready to listen
No I have to go, I cant let you go alone, Jack can postpone the date, but I am gonna come with you
This was what he said and she had been feeling guilty all these while because they aren't getting a date anymore because of there packed schedule.
She was equally hurt and angry, she crushed the newspaper and looked at him.
He was still busy with the cellphone, maybe the person on the other side wasnt picking it up.
She slowly went to him
"Ed keep the phone back"
She said slowly taking the phone from his hand and ending the dialling button.
"what are you doing? haven't you read the newspaper? "
He asked
"ya I read it and thats why I am obstructing you from doing something that is wrong"
She said and turned away
"wrong...! What wrong? "
He asked.
She kept silence
"I am asking you something"
He said again
"what you will accuse them for, writing the truth? "
She turned around and yelled
"what truth, they openly humiliated us"
He said
"they didnt do it, its your fans who openly asked these questions, and I know truth hurts, they are bitter but they are true"
She said
"you wanna say that I am not able to handle both, that I am loosing my fame? "
He asked
"no... But if you continue like this you will loose it one day, everything"
She said
"I don't care what people think, the important part is I have you and I cant loose you at any cost"
He said.
"I understand I am all right Edward and what do you mean you don't care what people say, your fans make you, its your duty to make them happy, you are nothing without your fans"
She said
"I know I understand but... "
He came forward to comfort her but she stepped back.
"the last day when I told you not to come with me to the doctor, you didn't listen to me, and now you aren't getting a date for the recording again, why don't you understand it makes your fan sad, they are hurt when they wait for something for so long"
She said
"What do you mean, h... How I could have let you go alone... "
He said with a trembling tone because he was shocked.
"Edward this disease is not new to me it has been with me since I was a kid, and all these while I have been to checkups alone"
She said and turned to walk away.
"there is something change Dew....you arent calling me Ed"
He said
"its because I lovingly call you Ed and I am serious now, its you who needs to think, I am leaving you alone for a while giving you enough time to think bye Edward"
She left him alone and walked away.
He sat on the couch, helplessly.
