Chapter 13( Edward and Dew)

He sat there speechless without moving and tried to recollect every minute incident that happened in these few days.
First the principle of the school said that her sir name was Raichand and they didn't know whether she was married or not.
Second she lied about Eric's age to him
Meanwhile he looked at Eric and saw that a dimple popped out on his face
Even he got one
He is my son.
He thought

He was almost in tears when Eric called him again.
"Mr. Stun I am getting late, my friend will be waiting for me......so can I go?"
He asked

Edward was not able to speak anymore, the name by which he was called by his own son pricked him hard.
Somehow he gave a small nod approving the request.

"OK so will you stay here till mom comes ?so I will not lock the backdoor"
He asked

This time a soft , partially inaudible OK came out of his mouth.

"OK then bye"
Eric said and ran towards the door just then Edward called him from behind.
"Eric wait"
He ran towards him and sat on his knees.
While running his hands through his hair he said
"You are a great boy Eric your father is proud of you"
Then hugged him tightly.

Eric hugged him back in confusion
"Thank you.......but......how do you  know "
He asked

Edward released and said
"I just know it .."
He smiled and left Eric to go

As he left edward felt a sudden frustration inside him. He didn't know whether he was angry, sad or in total shock.
There was no doubt that Eric was his son still he decided to dial Lisa once.

He dialled her number and she picked it up after three rings.
Before she could speak further from the other side he shouted

"Why......why didn't you tell me about this.......you knew it right then why why you both have been hiding such a big thing from me"

Though Lisa was able to understand the reason being his exaggeration she gave a confused answer from the other
"W...what .....what are you taking about?"

"You know well what I am taking about"
He yelled

"N...no I don't"
She said in a tensed manner

" Eric......you knew about him. ......you knew I have a son "
He said.

Lisa was stunned she was not able to speak a word ahead. as if her heart just bounced  out of her mouth. After a long pause she finally stammered
"W...who.....told....you........a..all....these things"

This one sentence answered every question of his.

"So you knew everything......you knew he was my son then why did you fucking hide it from me?"
He shouted

Lisa panicked
"Edward there must be a misconception"

"Misconception? Lisa give me one reason so that I can judge this situation as a misconception "
He asked.

"Just tell me what makes you think that he is your son ?"
Lisa yelled

"Everything......."
He shouted
"His lips,..his eyes.....his....his smile "

"That's not enough Edward"
He said

"Fine.......well then you are Dew's best friend right....you know everything about her ,you knew were she was staying all these years and I even know that you know......why.......she just. .....left me back then but I never dared to asked you that question"
There was silence for a while and then Edward spoke again.
"So coming back.....so can you tell me why this boy is totally clueless about his father's existence"
He asked
