Dew drove through the colony searching for the right house. Her hands were cold and she was shivering not because she was scared but a boost of happiness just touched her spines as she remembers today was finally epic day when she was going to tell Eric about his father.
As she stopped in front of the right house he saw Eric and the friend of his already out of their house playing on the lawn.
She got out of her vehicle and Eric spotted her.
"Mom!"
Eric was so immensely overjoyed that he dropped his ball and ran towards her.
Dew pulled him up on her arms and kissed his cheeks.
"Up so early"
She said smiling
"Yup! See I am quiet disciplined"
Eric pulled his collar.
Dew kissed his other cheek
"So....missed me?"
She asked
"Ammm.....No!"
Eric said and gave a mischievous laugh
"Oh my god..."
Dew gave a astonished look and then burst into a laughter.
"But definitely your food"
He smiled
"Hmmmm......you are being addicted to spices"
Dew gave a mischievous look
"Yah....and specially the sauce"
He said
"Thats called curry hon, anyways you had your breakfast?"
She asked
"Yup.....and i am all ready to go"
Eric said and jumped
"Oh but wait i need talk to his mom"
Dew said
"Ok"
Eric nods his head with approval
But as Dew walked two steps ahead she looked back scratching her head with a touch of guilt on her face
"Ok...so ....what....what was his name"
Hearing this Eric burst into immense laughter
Dew rolled her eyes in embarrassment
"Ok....ok..there is nothing to laugh about i forgot"
"Mom...I said it to you yesterday whats wrong with your memory..?"
Ben said trying hard to control his laughter
Dew gave a sigh
"Its Ben!"
Eric shouted
"Hmmm...ok...last name?"
Dew asked
"Ben Rush"
Eric said smiling
"Well....is his mother....Mrs.Rush or Miss.Rush"
Dew asked and regretted the next second for asking such a stupid question which could probably hurt the feeling of her son and it actually did when she saw Eric staring at ground with that smile vanishing from his face.
"No mom....he has a father , everyone is not like.......me"
Eric whispered looking down
Dew felt terrible and held his hands.
She knelt down and said
"Ok....I promise you won't be disappointed anymore....I promise to make up those five years of your life"
And kissed his cheeks
As she got up and approached towards the house she understand that though Eric didn't understand a word she right then she was happy and satisfied that this time she wasn't not lying.
After having a good talk with Ben's mother and Mrs.Rush's interrogating a thousand question about her knowing Edward Stun and his meeting me outside my class she finally came out and now was driving home.
Eric was looking outside the window and singing something. Though it wasn't audible clearly she could very well understand the tune because those tunes used to be in her lips all the time when she was once younger. Yes, it was none other than another M.D. Boys song.
