Sam and Dean just came home from a long and tiring hunt, they both slammed their body on the couch. Sam fell asleep right away and didn't even bother to go to his room, Dean tried to reach the pillow at the end of the couch but he felt a knee instead.

'Jeez! Cass!' Dean was wide awake now and Sam got up.

'Cass, you always had an element of surprise, huh?' Sam said.

'Hello, Sam. Hello, Dean.' Cass remained seated.

'I wanted to --' He was cut short when an angel pierced his heart, his eyes and hands light up. The angel disappeared when he fell down to the floor, he's gone, Castiel is gone.

'Cass!!' Sam and Dean shouted, they rushed to his side and Dean caught his head just in time before he hit his head on the floor. He's long gone, they saw a shallow open wound on his chest and they rushed him to the hospital. Dean was shocked, he never got to confess his love for his dear Castiel and now he vanished into thin air, there was nothing left of him but a flash of bright light.

'It's okay, we'll take it from here.' The surgeon said, bringing him back to reality. His hands were covered in blood, the last time he saw blood was when he had to stitch up Sam when a Wendigo caught up to him but it was 7 years ago. He got used to killing Leviathans and vampire he forgot what it felt like to feel blood on his hands again. He went to the restroom and washed his hands, he's staring at the mirror and punched it with all his might. 2 weeks later, the human Castiel was able to stand up and was ready for some unanswered questions.

'Okay, first things first, who are you people?' Sam and Dean looked at each other, they knew right away not to tell him the truth.

'I'm Sam, and this is my brother Dean. 2 weeks ago, you came up to us to ask for directions. You got down from you car because you wanted to go to Oklahoma. Are you okay now?'

'Weird, because I had a dream that I was stabbed in the heart.' They exchanged looks.

'That is weird.'

'So, why was I brought to the hospital?' He pulled his eyebrows together.

'Look, uhm---what's your name again?' Dean said.

'Nathan.'

'We found you lying on the ground on the interstate on the way to Oklahoma coz we're going to Oklahoma ourselves. You we're hurt pretty bad and you were bleeding, I checked your chest and it looked like someone tried to kill you right after taking your car and your wallet. We told the receptionist that you're a John Doe. No I.D, no Social, nada.'

'Thank you so much for bringing me here. Oh God, that was horrible.' He held back his tears.

'You're very welcome. Do you know where you live? Do you have a family member that could help you?'

'Well, I'm glad I memorized my wife's cellphone number, from there, I should be fine. I'll just give her a call and we'll take it from there. I really do appreciate what you did. Thank you very much.'

'No worries, but, do you mind if we wait around? Just until your wife gets here.' Dean smiled faintly.

'Oh no, please do.' He smiled too.

'Okay, we're gonna go to the cafeteria, you want anything?'

'If they have a chocolate cake that would be great.'

'Gotcha, we'll be right back.' They got out of his room and Dean almost cried.

'I can't do it Sam, it's hard to believe that's he's different person. He's not Cass. I want him back. Whoever did this to him or wherever the hell he is I will find Cass and his grace. I lost him once and I'm not gonna let that happen again.'
