The Ocean

It's time for me to come home to the love of my life. It's been four days since I left Castiel at the bunker, I hate being away from him when I clearly have to be by his side, but hunting duty calls and he insisted me and Sam should go and save the world. I will the save the world to be a better place for him. I just want him to be happy. Always. On the way home, I bought him some flowers. I want to take him out on a date, I missed him and there are things I want to tell him.

'Welcome back, Baby. I missed you so much.' He embraced me so tight and I hugged him back. Running back to him feels like home, he is my home. I kissed his lips softly and looked deep into his eyes. God! I'm so in love with this man.

'I kept telling myself I miss you but I never realized how much until I looked for your smile. It's one of the reasons I wake up everyday.' He didn't stop smiling at me and I fell in love harder. 5 years of dating and I still fall for him everytime I look at him.

'You're just hungry.' We chuckled. 'Come on, I made you guys some food, after that you can rest.' I kissed him again as he helped get our bags from the trip. After breakfast, I led him to our bedroom. 'You're not thinking of doing anything right now, right? Because you need to rest.' He said while looking at me naughtily.

'Sex can wait.' I winked at him and held his hand against my chest. 'Come closer to me.' He shifted towards me and held his face with both my hands and kissed him again.

'Baby, is everything okay?' He asked while his eyes shine brightly.

'I have so much to tell you but I wanna take you somewhere first. We'll leave by 5. Sounds good?' I licked his lips.

'Of course, is there something I need to be worried about?'

'Not at all, Babe. Not at all. You'll know in a few hours. Let's get some rest for now, okay? I'll wake you up.' I kissed him one last time and turned off the lights. After a few hours of good rest, I woke up and saw him still sound asleep. Perfect. I went to the kitchen to prepare our food for the picnic and put it all in a basket. Sam came in the kitchen to get some coffee.

'Going somewhere?'

'Yeah, I'm taking Cass to the beach. We're gonna have a little picnic, there's something I've been meaning to tell him.'

'Uh-oh' He pulled his eyebrows together looking confused.

'Relax. It's not what you think.' I put some more can of juice and a huge cloth to wrap things up.

'Oh okay. Have fun you guys.'

'Thanks. Later.' I went back to the bedroom and laid beside him. I kissed his forehead and woke him up.

'Hey baby, it's time to go.' He rubbed his eyes and pressed his face to my chest.

'Where are we going?'

'We're going to have a little picnic. Just you and me.' He smiled at me and got up.

'Okay lover boy, what's gotten into you anyway?' He went to the restroom and washed his face. He changed into his casual attire and wore the shirt I gave him on our second anniversary. I went to my drawer and pulled out a blindfold. He smiled at me.

'What?' I smiled back.

'You said sex can wait. Why the blindfold?' He crossed his arms and waited for my explanation. We laughed and I shook my head.

'Too many questions. I'll put this on you later.' I got the picnic basket and we got into the car. 'Turn around.' He turned his back on me and put the blindfold on him. 'No peeking, okay?'

'Okay. I'm a little nervous though but excited.'

'Don't be nervous. Do you trust me?'

'With my all.' After 20 minutes, I stopped and got out of the car. I opened his door and helped him got out.

'Are you ready?' I asked him.

'Yes, I'm ready.' He can't stop smiling. I took off the blindfold and his face is priceless. I took him to the beach to watch the sunset with me. He stared at the sun with awe and smiled drom ear to ear and I want that smile to stay on his lips forever.

'Oh Dean, this is so sweet.' He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me multiple times. I never wanted to break away from his embrace. 'Look at us.' He said while we turned to watch the sun and his arms still around me. 'God's creation is so beautiful. And we're so in love.' He looked at me again. 'This is all I want.'

'You're beautiful too, do you know that?'

'Yes, I do.' We laughed and I went to get the basket and started gobbling on the pie and other desserts I brought. After we ate, he still looked at the sun and I stared at him and marvelled at his beauty. He then closed his eyes, I did the same and held his hand. It felt so peaceful, knowing that he's beside me. Just me, him, and the ocean. I opened my eyes and saw him drank some juice. 'This is nice. Thank you for bringing me here. It's been a while since I've been to the beach.' He continued to look at the sun and I looked at him with love. His eyes, his sweet lips. I just can't help but fall. He admired the view of the ocean but I marvelled at his beautiful face.

'Come here.' I said. He moved and sat on my lap, he knew how I like this position. Seeing all of him in front of me.

'Spill. About time you tell me what's going on.' He kissed my forehead.

'I love you. I love you with all my heart. These past four days have been tiring for me and Sam. It was chaos and I couldn't think clearly. I kept looking for you, I was craving for your presence. I was craving for your touch. I wanted you there with me but I can't just risk that. I want you to hold me because all the while I thought I was keeping you safe, it was the other way around. It was you all along, you keep me safe in this big bad world. You protect me everytime you hold me, everytime you embrace me, you are my home. You are my ocean. You are the calming wave of sea that I desperately need and I can stay there. You are my peace. You make me feel okay even if things are not. You are my everything. But please, I'm begging you. Stay with me. Don't leave me. I can't bear the thought of not having you, just the though of it frightens me. I need you, Baby. Please.' I put his hand on my chest. 'This heart, this is for you, it's yours. It's always been yours because I belong to you. Only yours. I'm keeping you with me. I'll always be there for you but please stay. Stay forever. Stay in my arms where you belong.' I waited for him to answer but all I could see was tears down his cheeks.

'Baby, I've been with you for 5 years and 3 months. That just proves that I will stay with you forever and I will choose you over and over again. When we celebrated our first anniversary I knew that I will be with you for a while. No matter what happens to this world, to us. We made it this far and nothing can take me away from you. We're strong. We love each other so much and that's all that matters. I'm not going anywhere so that means you're stuck with me. I love you so much. It's you and me against the world. Just you and me.' He kissed my forehead again and kissed my lips softly. We cleaned our area and I carried him to my car. I sat him on baby's hood and kissed him until the sun faded away in the night, he broke away and looked at the sun one last time. He looked at me and licked my lips.

'I love you.' I said.

'I love you.' He said back.

'Too.'

'No, Dean. I love you. "Too" means additional to you loving me. I still love you even if you're mad at me. You just got to say it first tonight.'

*Code Blue by The Dream playing on baby's radio on the way home*
