It was a week later and the village gathered outside Maeko's hut.

Hana went inside and found Maeko pacing around. He saw her and smiled. He had been doing well.

"I'm going to go outside today," he said. Hana beamed and hugged him. He held her hand and stepped outside.

The village cheered, the small kids dancing around their parents legs. Maeko smiled, thinking of when he had been banished. Now, these people supported him as their Leader.

Hana and Maeko were in the guard hut, along with most of the guards. There were only five, not enough to protect the village. Rusty, Willow, Garret, Hunter, and Cali.

Maeko looked over the five. "Cali, Garret, and Hunter. Can you go and choose some of the older kids and start training them? Choose wisely."

They nodded and slipped outside.

"Rusty, Willow. You will protect the elders and young children. You are the best guards and I expect you to do well." They nodded and walked out to the village.

Maeko sat down, sighing heavily. Hana put her hand on his. "You can do this. We can do this. We just have to belive in them."
