Lexa's perspective

I waved my hand in dismissal of another one of my subjects who had come forth to offer "information" regarding the recent murder of the young girl. I rubbed my head in frustration as it was yet another helping of vague suspicions and useless tidbits.

Different clans accusing rival clans of such an act; family's with bad blood between them that sort of thing. I grew weary with such antics and I was getting nowhere fast with this. I felt Clarke's hands on my shoulders as she begun to ease the tension I was storing there with a massage.

"Did you get anything useful from the latest person to offer information?" She asked as she continued to knead my flesh with her hands. I placed one of my hands on top of hers hoping to convey my gratefulness at her touch,

"Nothing but idle speculation mostly. There's something out there that we're missing and I'm going to find it eventually."

I felt her arms wrapped around my from behind as she kissed me on the cheek,

"Not tonight you're not. Come to bed and we'll attack it fresh in the morning," I'd have to have been deaf to not hear the sultry tone of her voice.

"I have a few more things I must do before I turn in for the evening but I'll join you soon," I offered in the way of an explanation as to my lack of acquiescence.

She walked around and sat on my lap facing me,

"I wasn't giving you a choice," her voice now fiercely sexy.

I was at a loss for words when I realised that she was completely without clothing, her breasts mere inches from my face. I had the urge to play with them using my hands and my mouth.

She wasn't going to wait for me to try to get out of it though as she got off me slowly and pulled me to my feet. She led me over to our bed and shoved me onto it. I stared up at her as she climbed on and straddled me now. She lowered herself down and pinned my arms above my head giving her the feeling of control.

I was shocked to find how much it aroused me to allow her to be in totally control of this situation. Her mistake was leaning in for a kiss as I used my strength to reverse the situation and I soon had her on her back.

"No fair!" She pouted and I found it...dare I say...adorable? She then added, "Aren't you a little overdressed?"

I removed my top so that the only piece of clothing on my torso was my bra,

"Now that you mention it, I am feeling a little bit too warm in all these clothes," I said as I watched her eyes light up as I removed the rest of my clothing.

All thoughts of previous unpleasant topics were forgotten as we lost ourselves in the touch and gaze of the other. A while later, we lay together facing one another, just content to be in one another's company. It was now that all the worries from earlier as well as the usual ones set in once more.

It must have been plain for her to see on my face,

"Where have you gone?" She asked as I felt her hand caress my cheek. I leaned into the palm of her hand, delighting in the contact before I answered,

"I'm just worried. Worried about not being able to solve this quickly enough and to the satisfaction of my people as well as worried about you."

A puzzled look crossed her face as her hand stilled,

"Why are you worried about me?"

I sighed. I hated that my melancholy mood was ruining the moment for the both of us,
