I was seated next to Capricorn, who was a really nice guy! We had a good conversation, Virgo occasionally joined in, but now she was asleep. Capricorn and I were talking about our families.

'I have a big family, and we are really close, all of us' I said, smiling while thinking of my big, latino family. 'I am especially a daddy's girl' I added, he flinched.

'Um, did I say something wrong?' I hesitantly asked, he shook his head. 'No no, not at all. It's just, my father and I used to be very close, but since a few months ago, he started distancing himself from me' he looked sad, I rubbed his shoulder. 'I'm sorry. Why would he do that?' the boy swallowed, looking around him anxiously, and checking if Virgo next to him was asleep.

'Um, well, it's like this. My family is hispanic, and his side is also very catholic. Which is why-' he seemed to hesitate, but still continued. 'Which is why, he had a little difficulty with me being, um, you know-' '-Gay?' I finished his sentence, he shushed me and covered my mouth with his hand. 'Shh, not so loud!' I stifled a laugh and pulled his hands away.

'You seriously think it's a secret?' I questioned, he blushed. 'Look at you! You mostly hang around girls, you have an aztec suitcase, and you drooled all over Aries when he came walking up to us.' I whispered, he heavily blushed as he smacked my arm, surpressing a smile. 'Well, so did you!' he defended himself, I rolled my eyes.

'My family is latino' I changed the subject, his eyes widened. 'Really? So you speak Spanish too?' he asked, smirking, I nodded. 'Ah, muy bien' we continued our conversation in Spanish, quietly discussing all the people in the plane, including our travel-group.

(My Spanish sucks so I'm just going to write it in English, but they're conversing in Spanish! Lame, I know :/ )

'So, what do you think about the badboy?' he asked, I chuckled. 'Well, those kinds of boys are my type. Nonchalant, tough. He did behave a little cocky though' 'Yes, you're reading my mind! But, we're not going to be rivals, right?' he offered me his pinky. 'Are you seriously pinky-promising me right now?' he rolled his eyes.
'Just do it already, mi guapa' I gave in and we pinky promised. 'I promise we will not let this handsome boy ruin our friendship, mi guapo' and we unhooked our pinky fingers.

(Back to English)

'So, how long have we been flying?' I asked him, he looked at his watch. 'One hour and a half' 'Oh, wow. Where will we be going?' I looked through the window, but it was too dark to see anything outside.

'I'm guessing not too far. I think we'll visit countries in Western-Europe first, then we move to the East further and further, until we have our final flight.' he figured out.
'Maybe it's in those booklets they gave us!' I suggested, Capricorn shushed me as an angry couple glared our way. 'Oh shit, was that too loud?' I muttered, Capricorn nodded while soundlessly laughing.

I quickly retrieved my booklet from my bag and flipped through.
'Rules, emergency situations, rules, necessities, cliché sentences in different languages, and, look! More rules!' I whispered as Capricorn chuckled. 'Oh, there's a map!' I pointed, but there wasn't any sign of a route. A small legenda in the top left corner pointed out that we would get a stamp on every country we had been in, so it was still empty now.

'Bummer' Capricorn murmured as I closed the booklet in disappointment. 'Hey, mi guapo?' I asked him, he snickered at our new nicknames for each other. 'Yes, mi guapa?' 'Can I call you Cap? Because I'm a lazy person, and I talk a lot and very fast, so it would be easier to say it shorter' I pointed out.

'But it sounds weird' I nodded 'Yes, but it's probably just the fact that you have to get used to it' he shrugged. 'Sure, whatever' 'Thanks, Cap' I was feeling exhausted from all the excitement of today, so I sank back into my seat and fell asleep.

I was sitting in the corner, next to the window, my favourite spot, because flying above the clouds always looked so dreamy! Taurus and Libra talked for a bit, but I wasn't really listening. I heard Leo and Capricorn talking Spanish behind us, so I tried if I could follow, but I only caught little words here and there, and after a few minutes they switched back to English.

I tried to close my eyes and get a little sleep, but I was too nervous. Tracing the chain of my necklace inside my bag, I looked if Taurus and Libra were still sleeping, and got it out.

It was a simple necklace, with a little silver rose hanging from it. I gently stroked the petals, thinking of home. My mom gave it to me when I left for this trip.

The thing that troubled me most about this journey, is that it was all so unknown. We didn't know where we were going, and before we met, not even with what kind of people! Pisces convinced me to go with her, so we would both have someone we would already know.

I'm just nervous around new people, because everyone has a first impression and with me being shy, I'll probably be remembered as the 'quiet one', if I even get remembered!

Others can be 'that handsome boy', or 'the smart girl', or 'the funny one', but I always blended in too much, resulting in me being 'the blonde girl' or 'the quiet one'.
Mostly, I was okay with it, because it seems exhausting to be in the spotlight all the time, but sometimes it really bothered me how no one really payed attention to me.

I secured the chain around my neck, and looked outside, getting slightly bored. So I decided to listen to some music and write.

I only wrote for myself, just because I liked to do so. It was not that I would ever show anyone, though. Even Pisces didn't know. My writing is something personal, it is a way to pass the time, but sometimes a way for me to vent.

I startled and quickly locked my screen when Libra accidentally bumped into my shoulder. 'Oh sorry, didn't mean to frighten you' he said, yawning. I put my earbuds plus phone in my bag and kindly smiled. This is my chance to make friends, just talk to him!

He took a small, rattling bottle out of his bag and shook some of the content inside the palm of his hand, then tilting his head backwards and dropping it into his mouth, with a sip of water. He saw me curiously looking, but it made him kind of uncomfortable.

'What are those?' (Don't you guys dare comment) I pointed at the bottle he was putting back.

He got even more uncomfortable, and started to stammer nonsense. 'Um, those? They ah, umm...-'
'-Don't worry, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to' I pointed out, he deeply sighed. 'Thanks' he muttered.

'So... where do you think we'll go?' I asked, trying to continue the conversation.

I swear, everyone makes it look so easy to casually keep a conversation going! TELL ME YOUR MYSTERIOUS WAYS!

'I have no idea, but I hope they speak English there' he chuckled. 'Yeah, I hope so too'

....aaand, silence.

'Uh, you think it'll be warm-' I tried again, but his eyelids were drooping. 'Oh, yeah it's okay, go have a rest' I smiled and looked out the window.
Was I that boring?
