11. Preparing

~ Aquarius

After showering, I heard that more boys had gathered in front of the stall.
I opened the door, greeted by Capricorn, slamming into me.
He cursed under his breath when he pushed himself off me. 'I honestly have no idea why this keeps happening!' he muttered, when I exited the cabin.

I entered the sleeping cabin and retrieved my headphones from my bag, arching an eyebrow at the moving sleeping bag, when I realized Aries slept in the bed underneath me.
Should I wake him up? He'll probably wake up in a few minutes, right? Yeah, probably.

Wearing my headphones around my neck, I walked to the back of the cabin, where the others were waiting. 'Hey Scorpio' I muttered, he gave me a short nod. 'Aries is still sleeping, should I wake him up, or...' 'No, I think it's best for all of us if he finishes his beauty sleep' Scorpio grinned, I chuckled.

After listening to some music, I threw a look at my watch. 'You might want to hurry up if you still want your bicycles, it's a quarter past nine!' I told the others, they were pounding on the showercabin, trying to get Sagittarius to hurry up. He got out, throwing some death glares.

I saw Pisces rubbing her eyes, leaning against the girl shower cabin, when her eyes fell on Sag's toned body. She started blushing furiously and tried to avert her gaze, not really succeeding.

'I would put on a shirt if I were you, somebody can't keep her eyes off you' I chuckled, Sag arched an eyebrow and turned around, catching Pisces quickly looking away.
He winked at her and turned around, walking inside the cabin, grinning. Pisces was still blushing, hiding inside the shower cabin as soon as Virgo stepped out.

Now I caught myself staring, when Virgo flipped her slightly damp hair and made her way back into the girls cabin.

Sagittarius came sitting next to me, so I took my headphones off and grinned at him. 'What? What is it?' he asked, although I was certain he knew what I was smirking about.
'Why were you smiling when you caught Pisces staring?' He scowled 'I wasn't... smiling' but we both knew the pause in his sentence had betrayed him.

'Has someone caught your eye?' I cooed, Sag threw me a cold glare. 'Shut up' he hissed through his teeth. 'Don't worry, I know enough, Saggy'
'Well, what about you gawking at Virgo?' He suddenly brought up, now it was my turn to clench my jaw. 'Alright, now we're even' Sag confidently mused.

'Let's go everyone!' happy-camper-counselor told us, and we got into the vans.
'Wait, Aries is still not here. Should I-' '-Nah. He can sit on the carrier of someone else's bike when we go somewhere' Sag assured me, he had a point.

Entering the van, I saw an empty spot next to Virgo and one next to Pisces. Saggitarius noticed too, so he quickly took a seat next to Pisces. I rolled my eyes at him, sitting down next to Virgo.
'Hi Aqua!' she greeted me, her eyes sparkling behind her glasses. 'Hi' I muttered.

'So... did you actually have difficulty getting up this morning?' Lame. 'Surprisingly, not really! And you?' she chuckled. 'I did, kind of...'

After some more pathetic attempts at making conversation, I gave up and sat next to her in silence.

We arrived at the town and stepped out of the van. 'Okay, everyone pick a bicycle your size, we'll take care of the rest!' a male counselor announced.
I quickly found one my size and waited for the others for about fifteen minutes.

'That's settled then, the vans will drive in front of you to show you the way, just follow them and you should be fine.' happy-camper-counselor explained, we nodded.

After a quick ride, we were welcomed at our camp by Aries stomping out of the cabin, his hair wet from showering. 'What the hell? Why didn't anyone wake me, now I don't have a bicycle!' 'Calm down sleeping beauty, you can sit on somebody's carrier tonight' Capricorn assured him, Aries rolled his eyes.

'What time are we leaving?' Virgo asked, Libra shrugged 'I'd say 10 pm?' 'Let's gather at 10, and we'll leave fifteen minutes later' I added, everyone agreed.

10 pm

Honestly, I was a little nervous. I hadn't been out a lot, and this was also in a whole other country. But it should be fine with such a big group.

The boys' cabin was crowded with guys grooming themselves. 'Maybe some of us will get back in a few hours with a Spanish lover on their side' Aries wiggled his eyebrows. 'Who knows' Capricorn chuckled, looking at Aries funny.

'Are you going to wear that?' Scorpio suddenly joined me on my top bunk. 'Err, why? Is it stupid?' I stammered, picking at my sweater. Scorpio didn't say anything as he grabbed a blue-greyish shirt from my bag and threw it at me. 'Come outside when you're done' he told me, climbing back down.

I pulled off my sweater, changing into the shirt and jumping down. I met Scorpio outside, he grinned. 'There we go. Now, let me just-' he thought out loud, he pulled a hand through his gelled hair and ruffled mine, creating a slightly messy front.
'All done. You're welcome' he told me, turning to talk to Libra. 'Thanks...' I muttered.

'Ugh, we always have to wait for the gir-' '-are you guys finally ready?' Aries was cut off by Taurus, the whole group of girls looking ready to go.
'Just one thing, who wants to carry Aries?' Gemini remarked, but before Capricorn could offer it, Leo stopped her bicycle right in front of Aries. 'Hop on!' she told him, sweetly smiling.

Aries smirked and sat on the back of her bike, wrapping his arms around her waist to not fall off. 'Let's go!' Taurus cheered, and everyone followed her to the city.

'Are you excited?' Gemini asked from beside me, I nodded. 'I like your hair like this' she smiled.
'Thanks, yours looks pretty as well' I responded, but she arched an eyebrow. 'I can't hear you, wait a sec' I could barely respond with an "okay?" when she yelled for everyone to keep it down. Don't ask me how, but everyone lowered their voices right away.

'Sorry, what were you saying?' she innocently smiled as if nothing had happened. I got to my senses and repeated that her hair looked pretty as well. 'Aw, thanks! Virgo braided it for me'
Still amazed at her switch in moods so quickly, I couldn't think of anything else to say.
