18. A day in Amsterdam (I'm so sorry)

I know, I know, I'm sorry! Things have just been crazy around here.
My mom and dad rolled their eyes at my lame excuse for not calling them earlier on.
We're just glad you're okay and having fun. My mother smiled, and I grinned in response.
But really, son. Make sure you do it safe-
-DAD! Stop! Not another word!
I cut him off, facepalming, my mom also gave him a stern look.
I gotta go, the others are waking up and we're going for breakfast. Love you, bye!
I hastily signed, and closed Skype on my phone before they could give me any more 'parental advice'.
Though, I couldn't surpress a smile.

'Hey Sag' I greeted the moving sleeping bag on the top bunk adjacent to mine. A very sleepy Sagittarius stuck his head out '...morning Aries' he mumbled, stretching limb after limb.
'Shouldn't the alarms have gone off by now? It's 8am after all' I asked him. 'Any moment now' he responded, and sure enough, the room was filled with the sound of alarms and groaning teenage boys.

'Come on ladies, rise and shine!' I told them, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed and leaping over it, landing on the ground. 'What are you so cheery about?' Libra suspiciously eyed me, I shrugged 'Probably the fact that I won't have to fight over the only shower available in a few seconds'.
As the realization hit them, it only took a few seconds for all the boys to hurry out of their bed and into the bathroom, well, all except one.
'Fuck it, I'm not doing this again. I'll just shower after breakfast' Scorpio sighed, throwing on a hoodie.

When suddenly, Dave opened the door. For a brief moment, his smile was replaced by a frown, probably because of the stale odor that hit him, but he recovered quickly.
'Goodmorning lads, we will take care of breakfast for today, but for the upcoming three days after today, breakfast will be on yourselves. Be ready in 10 minutes!'
And he exited.

'10 minutes?!' gasped Capricorn and Libra, still trying to fix their hair/outfit. Scorpio and I snickered at the sight of the two fighting over the small mirror.

Hello beautiful readers.

So I want to start off by saying I am so sorry for not publishing anymore, but lemme explain:

Firstly, since I am in my exam year (pray for me lol) school is priority for me atm.

Secondly I still find it really hard to find a good balance between spending time on school, work, exercise, the things I love, and the people I love. It's stressing me out and unfortunately writing, being one of the things I love most, was one of the things I couldn't find time for.

Also, I just can't get myself to continue this book because I keep writing shit chapters (like this weird half-chapter) and nothing I write comes out the way I want it to. I won't take this book down, but won't continue it either.

I hope you all have amazing lives and who knows, maybe one day I'll be brave enough to publish something new.
