Let's Get These Teen Hearts Beating Faster

Wren's POV

I woke up around 9 AM with nobody to be found. I soon find out that everybody went to sound check. I had an appointment to go get my hearing aid later today, so I got the whole morning to myself. I personally don't like this but that's just me, and Willow won't change it because she's as stubborn as a donkey. I hate going to the doctor's office. I know it's just for a hearing aid but I still hate them.

After eating breakfast, I quickly get dressed and send out a text saying where I'm going and that I'll be back before lunch. Shortly after the text was sent Willow replied telling me to tell her that I needed to tell her how it went the second I left the building and Luke responded saying that I need to stay safe. I shut my phone off and stick it in my pocket.

The information at the doctor's wasn't anything I hadn't heard before. I had lost almost all of my hearing and the only way I would be able to hear again is if I get a hearing aid. I nod and go pick it out. I end up choosing a galaxy one and am handed a handy dandy booklet with the rules for handling it.

I make my way back to the hotel and meet up with the others. They all are in great moods, which is great. Lately we've all been a little down. It's nice to see all of us happy again. While we are eating lunch I can tell they are all hiding something from me, I don't know what but they're hiding something.

"Wren, Willow. Luke and I have something for you." Michael says and takes something out of his pocket. He hands Willow and I four tickets to Panic! At The Disco.

"HOLY CHEESE AND CRACKERS!" I shout and pull Luke into a hug. Panic! is one of our favorite bands.

I pull out of the hug and sign to them,"Thank you so much."

Luke translates for the boys and signs back,"You're welcome love." I smile at him and give him a small kiss. He's done so much for me. He learned sign for me and has been able to make me smile even when I don't want to. I love him so much.

Willow's POV

"HOLY CHEESE AND CRACKERS!" Wren shouts as she hugs Luke. It's great to see her happy, a lot has happened lately and it's nice to see her happy.

I smile at Mikey,"Thanks Mikey." I say and ruffle his hair.

"Anything for you Will." He says and pulls me into a hug. I pull out of the hug and peck him slightly on the lips. We both smile at each other, but are taken from our trance when Luke says something.

I look over at the two and see them signing back and forth. Wren's got a huge smile on her face so does Luke. He's worked so hard to learn and she's so greatful and proud of him.

Earlier today while Wren was at her appointment the boys and I came up with a surprise for her. The boys are going to play her favorite song for her tonight, but when they sing they are going to sign to her. We worked on it all last night and all this morning. Tonight they are going to sign/sing Wrapped Around Your Finger.

I pull away from Michael and get Wren's attention. I sign to her,"So what happened at the doctors today?" I ask her and she sighs taking a seat. This can't be good.

She starts to sign to all of us. "Pretty much what we expected. Only way I can hear is with hearing aids. I ordered some and that's what you missed on glee." I chuckle at the last part. Even in the saddest times she can make us all smile.

I sign back to her,"Hey at least you can hear with them, that's good right?"

She sighs and gives a small smile," Yeah. Any way, we better get to stage for sound check and meet and greet. Let's go."
