"Bullshit." Melinda says flatly as Kelly finished her story. "There's no way I'm believing that. I mean really." They had been walking for a long time, and seemed to have made it to the edge of the city. They stood in front of a huge, deep, thick, green forest. It looked as if industrialization refused to touch it, or the forest refused to be touched by it. They stopped short and looked around. The patch of wilderness was definitely surrounded by the city, because the surrounding buildings curved and disappeared around the trees and weeds.

"So then what else do you think happened? Since you must know the truth! How did you get here?" Kelly snapped at her.

"I don't know but I wasn't summoned magically. We were obviously kidnapped. You probably work for the jackass that took us here and you're leading us to our death right now." Melinda said not even looking in Kelly's direction.

"So I work for whoever kidnapped you. That's why I'd injure myself, just to find you two, then wander off and lead you to death? I haven't even been leading us, I've been following  you two!" Kelly said glaring at Melinda.

"Please! Can we cut it out? Melinda, there isn't much else we can believe is there? She gave us a pretty detailed story, and seeing how out of it she is, I don't think she'd make it all up. Plus, if they wanted us dead wouldn't they have killed us already?" Mary said calmly to her sister, who rolled her eyes silently.

"I want to know how I could kidnap you two and place you in a completely abandoned city, how many of those do we have in the world?"

"Plenty if you try hard enough." Melinda said before she began to walk forward.

"Where are you going sis?" Mary said raising her eyebrows. "Why are you heading into that forest looking whatever, when we can stay close to the buildings and go around?"

"Well sis if you gave it a closer look you would see the buildings closest to the forest are pretty much connected to it, so it'd be the same damn thing." Melinda said angrily. Kelly stared disgustedly at her. There couldn't have been a reason for her to have such a harsh attitude with the only two people that were on her side. Or with her at all. "What are we even looking for? Huh? Where are we going? Hey genius." She nodded her head toward Kelly.

"Watch your tone girl." Kelly said calmly.

"Yeah yeah. You got all the answers right sunshine? So where's this magic ball. Huh? Where's your special laptop?"

"Obviously I don't know or I'd be headed toward it right now."

"Oh so, it's so advanced that it grants unlimited wishes, but it's not advanced enough to have some kind of tracking? That makes perfect sense." Melinda said as she began to walk deeper into the forest. Kelly and Mary slowly began to follow her shaking their heads at one another.

Melinda had an even more unreasonable temper than Kelly, that made more sense seeing how calm and collected Mary was. Kelly definitely didn't like to be challenged and she didn't like the way Melinda talked down to her. But Kelly figured she'd rather take a verbal beating than be alone again.

"You're quite the handful." Kelly muttered.

"No one asked you to come with us." Melinda shot back. "And if I remember correctly, It's your fault I'm here. So I guess you're stuck with this handful huh?"

"Well I guess if it's my fault you're here it wouldn't be much of an issue if I got you out of here too." Kelly said. She mentally scolded herself for being so quick to snap back again. But this time it was too late. Melinda turned around and grabbed Kelly by the throat.
