Chapter 6- On A Scale From 1-10

LUCYS POV

it's been two weeks since my vision slowly came back and it got better by the day. becuase i was being hopeful like gray told me to do. and i never knew he was right i just thought he was being surportive.

i still ned to wear my black glasses but i can see slight things. like i can se moving figures and colours more better. i still havent told my friends but i will do when i will be able to see them better HOPEFULLY.

today my mother and me are goig to have a girls day out. becuase she is really happy about my sight coming back. i like going shopping with mum. even though i can't see the things she picks out for me i just imagen them in my mind when she describes them.

---------SHOPPING MALL----------

'where are we going mum?' i asked my mother ad she just giggled.

'well lucy...first i have to take you to the optitions to see how your eyes are and then i'll take you shopping' i smiled in responce of what my mother said.

i think we are in the optition room becuase i'm sitting on a chair bed thing.

'Lucy...i'm very impressed with your sight i mean...this is a mirical...on a scale from 1-10 how much can you see' i thought about it and then spoke.

'to be honest a 3...i can see things but i can't really make out what i see. i can see figures and colours but i can't see them clearly' i replied. and hopefully she is smiling.

'exuse me doc...when do you think she will be able to wear proper glasses?' i heard my mother say.

'well if lucys eye sight improves or maybe goes to a five on a scale to one to 10 then she will definatly be able to see with glasses. and she will be able to see clear without but will obviously still be blurry' the doctor responded. i just smiled.

'thank you doctor' i said jumping of the bed chair.

'any time lucy...mrs hearfilia...i will like to see Lucy in a Months time Just in case anything happens okay'

'okay...thank you' my mother said and we both walked out of the optitions.

me and my mum went into every single clothes shop. i think. and now we are just walking around the shopping mall eating doughnuts and drinking hot chocolate.

'HEY LUCY!' i heard a familier voices shout to me. it sounded like Levy and juvia

'mum what do these girls look like?' i asked my mum and she described the two girls.

'well one is quite a tall bluenette with long hair and the other kind of a small blueette with shorter hair' yep they are defiatly levy and Juvia.

'hey' they said. i take it they were face to face with me.

'hey guys how are you' i said smiling.

'we are great...how are you' levy said i could tell she was happy by the tone of her voice.

'i'm better than great...my mum is just taking me out shopping' i was going to tell them about the good news but i'm waiting for my sight to become a 5.

'oh thats nice...hello mrs hearfilia...i'm levy and this is juvia...we are Lucys best friends' Levy said. i think she was shaking my mothers hand.

'it's nice to meet you Levy,Juvia. lucy talks about you guys so much...you all have made her very happy' my mother said. i just blushed and the girls giggled.

'well lucy Juvias mum is picking us up now but we will see you in school on monday kay' Juvia said i could feel them waving. so i waved back and smiled.

'bye lucy...bye Mrs Hearfilia' the girls said in canon.

'bye' me and my mum said in unison. and after that we started walking to our car.

my mum helped me in and we drove back home. i was really happy about my good news. i couldn't never stop smiling. i just need to have full hope untill i can finaly see again.

NATSUS POV

'DAD WHERES THE PHONE?' i shouted form downstairs.

'WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR PHONE?!' he shouted back replying.

'IT'S DEAD AND I NEED TO CALL SOMEONE!' i shouted back.

happy then came flying towards me holding the house phone.

'oh thanks happy' i said hopeing for a meow but what i got was an

'aye' i looked at him confused and ran to my room terrified. i quickly called lucy becuase i really needed to tell her something.

'h-hello' i heard lucy throught the phone...hearing lucys voice always made me smile.

'hey luce...i need to ask you something' i said and it was silent.

'o-okay' she stutterd which made me chuckle.

'd-do you wanna sometime?' i asked. urgh shes gonna hang up now.

'um like a date?'

'well it doesn't have to be a date...if you want it could be us friends just hanging out' i said back and she chuckled. making me chuckle.

'okay...i'll go out...when though?'

'ummm...how about after school on monday...we could go anywhere you want like the park...the shopping mall, anywahere' i offered and i could hear her humming trying to think.

'well i just came from the mall with my mother so how about the park?' she asked and i just smiled through the phone.

'yeah...sounds great' i said. 'oh and i think happy is possessed' i added and she just laughed through the phone.

'what do you mean possessed?' she asked chuckling.

'well..he flew over to me holding the phone and when i said thanks he said 'aye'' after that lucy chuckled lightly.

'okay do you think your hearing things' she said

'no luce seriously...the cat said aye in like the cutest highest pitch voice' i said and she carried on laughing.

'oh natsu your so funny...i beleive you..anyway...i will see you on monday okay...bye natsu' i smiled. i knew she didn't beleive but i didn't fight back.

'okay see you on monday' i said softly and i hung up the phone. i layed on my bed thinking about what could happen on my first date with luce. eve though it wasn't a date was it? oh well who cares at least i can be with my best friend lucy.
