Ch3: Emily POV
I knew when Roxy faked bleed that something was up; she’s been acting weird since she met “Jake”.
As soon as she left I swear I could hear something growling in class. I guess some people forgot the most important meal of the day…
“Mr. Hennery, may I go to the bathroom?” I asked with a sweet smile. I needed to check on my twin.
“Yeah sure, just be quick” he replied without turning from the black board.
Willy looked at Mr. H like he just said I could run away and join a street gang. “Sir, what if she misses something important?”
I looked at Willy and was like “Dude, I got to pee. THAT’S what’s important... plus it’s not like I need to take Algebra for college” and just took my stuff and went out the door.
I wanted to be a writer, but since both my parents are surgeons, I’m expected to “follow their footsteps” like my older brother and sister, both studied medicine.
Now where the Hell could Roxy be…….I decided to check out the nurse’s office.
That’s when I saw her at the end of the hallway with…Jake? No, this guy was bigger plus I left Jake in class, no way will he follow without me knowing. I didn’t like the way he was hovering over my twin, so I decided to break up their little meeting.
“YO BAKA” I yelled to Roxy when I got close enough.
The mystery dude looked at me and mumbled something, I was too far away to hear what, but apparently it’s something big that made Roxy yelled “WAIT,WHAT?!”
I suppose she wasn’t supposed to hear that judging by his shocked expression. As I kept walking I kept my gaze on my twin, mystery dude was staring at me and frankly freaking me out so I pretended he wasn’t there.
“What’s wrong hun?” I asked BB, but she wasn’t paying any attention to me. She was glaring to someone over my head. I sighed and turned around.
I couldn’t move, couldn’t breathe, I just stood there staring at mystery guy in front of me. I was lost in those grey eyes; they were like steel trapping me there, it felt as if it was only me and him and the rest of the world didn’t exist. I would have stayed there if Roxy didn’t pull me along with her whisper-yelling “Principal Cullen, no passes RUN B*!” I ran for the hills, to the roof my dear companions!
Mystery guy tried to follow us but we knew the school better than he did. No way we were gunna give away our secrets to some new guy, no matter how hot. DAMN did I just think that?! BAD! BAD Emily. Focus on finding your way without giving away any secrets!
Once we lost him, we texted the rest of the fantastic 4 for an “emergency conference”. Within minutes we were united.
“What’s wrong?” Eva asked.
“Where do we bury the body?” Z sarcastically assumed.
So we told them the whole Jake-Mystery guy incident and when we were done they were grinning like idiots.
“What?” me and Roxy kept looking back and forth between our faces “seriously, why the mad scientists smile?”
“Were smiling because you two just experienced……….” Z said while gesturing for Eva to continue explaining their awesome revelation.
“LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT” Eva and Z shouted then dissolved into a fit of giggles.
