Chapter 8

--Mark's POV--

I walked out of the coffee shop, and went back to the police station. I entered the building, got a smile form Dante, and walked into my office. I saw the Septiceye Case box sitting on my desk, untouched. I opened it, put the notes inside of it, and sat down in my spinny chair.
"Now, all I have to do is wait." I said to myself quietly.

Two hurendously long hours later, I got a call from a bank saying they were robbed. I jumped from my seat and walked out of the station, hopped into a police car, and sped off to the crime scene.

--At Bank--

I stepped out of my car, and entered the scene, which was wrapped around with yellow police tape. I asked a few other officers what happened, and they said Septiceye robbed the bank. There was no evidence of his being there except another note.

"Can I see the note?" I asked one of the officers.
"May the odds be ever in your favor. Here." She hands me the note and I walk back to my car, and unfold the note.

I de-coded the note and it said:

Catch me if you can :)

"Oh we sure will." I said to myself.
I grabbed a ripped piece of paper from my pocket and wrote him a note. It said:

Zkr duh brx? Zkdw lv brxu uhdo qdph?

Who are you? What is your real name?

I folded the note up and set it slightly hidden, in the bank. The bank wouldn't reopen for at least another 2 days. "That should be plenty of time for him to find the note." I nodded. I checked my watch. 10:23 P.M.

"Ugh. I need to go to sleep." I sighed as I walked to my car, drove it to the police station, got into my real car, then drove home. I hopped into bed, not bothering to put on something more comfortable, and slowly drifted to sleep.

"With great power, comes great need to take a nap." I said right before I closed my eyes.
