There was no way I could focus in English class. I couldn't even begin to process this. I would have never guessed that he would be attracted to me. Ever. I've liked him for such a long time, and he was really popular. I knew in my mind there'd never be any chance of anything like this actually happening. It was only fantasy.
Does this mean he's gay? He always had great style, and the looks to back it up. I've never seen him flirt with girls, but I have seem him act playful around other guys, albeit his close friends.
I was so lost in my own thoughts, that when another student called on me to read next, I didn't even hear her. People started laughing, yet here I am still zoning out. Someone behind me tapped me out of my trance, and I immediately felt guilty and embarrassed for even thinking of all this in the middle of class. I couldn't concentrate the whole rest of the day.
My friends noticed I wasn't my crazy, weird, witty self. I didn't dare tell them anything. They would definitely not believe me anyways. I got home and sprinted up the stairs to my bed and crashed onto it. No one was home as usual, but still I was having the feeling of guilt since my family doesn't know about my sexuality. It felt wrong.
I needed to see Spencer soon. That's all I could dig out of my head. Now I have to impress him tomorrow. Wow, I've never felt real emotions towards anyone like this in a while, and it felt great. I could tell this was special even if I hadn't dated other guys before. This would be the best I could ever get, that anyone could get! His name is tossed around by girls all the time, constantly gossiping about how cute he is.
