The next day at school my mind drifted to only him. I was anticipating 2nd period the second I woke up. Finally, the moment came, and there he was.

He looked even better today with his styled clothes. Light-colored khakis cuffed over Timberland boots, and the familiar red, dark blue, and turquoise striped jacket he wore most days. His face was gleaming, showing off his perfect skin: light yet not pale, tan yet not wrinkly. Perfect. Like always, his short black crisp hair gelled to it's combed up style.

It's been 4 seconds and look what I'm already doing. I could tell this class would fly by, although I wish it didn't. He saw me and winked as I entered the class. My heart dropped. I smiled and made eye contact. He clearly didn't forget about yesterday. Oh boy, how I wanted that again. I wanted just to be closer to him, his radiant body giving off warmth from afar.

I sat diagonal to him. He turned around to my desk, "Mind if I borrow a pencil? I don't have an eraser on mine."

"If you promise to give it back," I tease. There's never a time I'm not smiling around him.

"Yeah, sure, I promise. Thanks," he said. Not seeming to care too much about it. He just needed a pencil after all. He must not want people to see anything between us. He probably wouldn't even be friends with me let alone friends with benefits. For some reason I couldn't get it out of my head that it was surely just a one time thing.

Class went by normally for a while, until the fire alarm went off. That damn thing always scares the hell out of me. We all got up to walk outside, and just our luck it was snowing. He stood behind me as our class lined up on the field, waiting in the freezing cold. As I shivered, suddenly there was a subtle warmth conducting against my ear. I almost didn't notice it.

Following the warmth, a soft whisper so quiet that I wasn't sure if I heard it or not, "meet me by the stairs."

I turned around relieved that I did hear it, because as proof, there Spencer was right behind me. He was looking down, as if nothing at all just happened, aside from the faintest of smirks. I admired his stealth.
