"Hi, papa! How are you?" I asked my grandfather while I walk through the door to the sun room.

"Hi, baby! I'm doing fine! My have you grown!" he said.

"Well papa, it's been almost six years." I said.

"Boy have I missed you." he said.

"I've missed you more. You're still my best friend. You know that right?" I asked.

"Of course. And you're still mine." He answered.

"Papa?"

"Yes sweetie?"

"Where am I?"

"My house."

"Yes papa. I know. But I mean, where exactly. Like what location?"

"You're in heaven."

"But I can't be! don't be silly!"

"I'm not joking Hun."

I took a good loom around and realized that I wasn't in Kansas anymore.

"Oh."

"Do you want to go back?" he asked.

"Can we watch some movies first?" I asked.

My grandpa and I used to watch movies together while I sat on the arm of his chair. We always watched scary movies. My grandpa was my very best friend him and we never parted. Ever. I remember the day he passed. February 18, 2009. He died of lung failure. I remember looking into his eyes and having to say good bye to the man I looked up to. I remember telling him that I loved him and he'd forever be my best friend.

"Of course." He said.

What felt like five hours flew by and we sat and watched movies together and talked about anything we could think about.

"I'd like you to meet someone." He said pointing to a tall pale man with a white robe and a long beard. "Annie, this is Jesus."

"Hiya, Jesus!" I said.

"Hello there Roxanne." He replied.

"What happened to me?" I asked.

"Well..." Jesus said. He began to explain what happened to me and told me in much detail.

"Roxanne, you must go back to your family and friends." Jesus said.

I looked over at my papa, thinking long and hard. I don't want to lose him again. He's my best friend. I felt tears start to well in my eyes, like little oceans. I felt them spill over and start to rain over my face.

"Don't cry sweetie." Papa said. "You'll see me again. I promise."

"I love you papa." I said hugging him and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you too Roxy." he said.

"Thanks Jesus." I said giving him a hug.

And then with one last look into my grandfathers eyes, everything went dark.

All I could hear now was a beeping noise. I sat straight up in what looked like a hospital bed. I looked down to see my leg in a cast and my left arm in a cast. I looked around the room to see roses, balloons, cards, and stuffed animals everywhere.

I began to panic. I didn't know where I am! What happened? Then, it all came sailing back to me.

"MOMMY! DADDY! NATHAN! GRANDMA! SOMEONE!!" I started to scream.
