Life is Unpredictable even for a Queen

~Shocked~

"He's perfect Alana." I say as I take pictures of the baby. Then I hear the machines going crazy. "We are losing her." The doctor says. I jumped and I went to see her and she was smiling but her eyes were closed. I look around the room and I see Killian well Colin standing by the window. "Oh so that's the cause." I say. "No heart beat, bring in the crash cart."

One doctor says as another is trying to control the bleeding. "She's losing too much blood." One of them screams. "No what's going on?" I ask. Then one of the doctor escorts me out of the room. "No I can't lose her too!" I screamed. Colin walks over to me.

"What happened August, is she ok?" I scoff. "Why do you care?" He sighs. "I just, I was asleep and in my dream I saw her there. I saw a bunch of things that felt real that we both did and someone told me she was here, so I came." I stood there quietly.

"Yeah like us on a ship sword fighting, walking together, all these different things." I sigh. If he only knew that they were real, those things he saw and experienced were real. He looked so confused as he glanced back inside. I felt bad because he was so confused. 

He is my partner and I felt guilty for being with his one true love. In reality I was being selfish because I had found out how to get his memory back but I had Emma in my life now and I didn't want to lose her but now I am literally losing her. "Will she be ok?" Colin asks. I sigh. 

"I don't know dude." He sighs and nods. The doctor closes the blinds and we sit down. An hour passes by and the doctor comes out. "She's stable for now, but we had to induce a coma." Colin and I gasp. "Why?" Colin and I blurted out. The doctor gave Colin a baffled look. "Whoa who are you sir?" He asks and points at Colin. 

"He's Alana's best friend." The doctor nods. "Well it seemed that something triggered her to go into shock, and we just don't know what it was. She also lost a lot of blood and since her body didn't know how to react with everything that was going on, her brain made her body shut down."

Colin and I gasp. "We will transfer her to a room and the baby is healthy, you will be able to see him in a little bit." We both nod and he walks back inside. I nod and I start to walk towards the waiting room. I look back and Colin is standing there. "Are you coming Colin?" He stood there quietly. "Umm I don't think it's a good idea if I go." I walk back and grabbed his shoulder. 

"I know this is hard but there's nothing you can do here and plus it will look good if you're there with me when I tell the family the news that Alana is in coma." He nods. "You're right I'm sorry." I smile. That's when we both walked into the waiting room and everyone gasps. 

"Killian?" Everyone says in unison. Colin stood there baffled and a bit annoyed. "Daddy." Rhea says and runs up to him. Colin gave her a confused look as he hugged her. Emma's dad walks up to him and stands his ground. "So do you remember who we are my boy?" Colin stood there confused. 

"Remember what?" Everyone sighs. Rhea backs away and sits with Arie. "So what happened?" Jay asks. "Well the baby was born healthy and he is cute as can be." Everyone claps their hands and jumps for joy. I took out my phone and show them the pictures that I took of the baby. Everyone was smiling and just going crazy and Rhea was so happy. "But.." I said and everyone turned to me with a worried look on their face. 

"Alana is in a coma." Everyone gasps. Her mother started to cry and it hurt me to see her like that. "Apparently something triggered for her to have a bad reaction and since she was losing a lot of blood her body didn't know how to react to everything that was going on so her brain shut the body down and they induced a coma." I said and sighed. Lacy gets up and walks over to Colin. 

"It was probably when she saw Killian thinking he was back." Colin sighs and looks away. "I'm pretty sure it was." I said and everyone nods. The nurse walks in and let's us know that we can see the baby. Everyone walks out except for Colin and I. He's just sitting there confused. I can't imagine what he must feel right now. I turn away from him and thought about Emma. What if she never wakes up? That would destroy me. 

That's when the doctor walks in and let's us know that Emma well Alana was taken to a room. I look back at Killian. "Aren't you coming?" "I'll go see the baby and Alana in a little bit, you go first." I nod. I run to the room and once I walk in I see her laying there practically lifeless. I caress her cheek and I start to cry. I didn't want to lose her. I loved her so much and she doesn't deserve to be in this state. 

She deserves to be awake and holding her little baby boy in her arms. 30 minutes later they bring the baby in and the rest of the family followed. Lacy grabs little Devon and puts him on Emma's chest. Her heart rate started to regulate. I smile at the sight of that because it meant she could feel the baby. "She's still there, she feels the baby." Everyone nods and smiles. I grabbed little Devon and he opens his eyes and my was I in shock. They were blue just like Killian's and he had black hair like him. 

He was indeed Killian's son. I sighed. He grabbed my finger and managed to smile. I held him closer to my face and I wanted to cry. How I wish I was his father. I look over at Colin as he walks into the room. "You want to see him?" Lacy asks him. He stood there quietly. Lacy comes and takes the baby from my arms and walks over to him. She places the baby in his arms. Devon smiles at him then buries his face against Killian's chest. How did I envy that. 

The baby knew that Killian was his daddy, he could feel it. Killian smiled. "Oh he's so cute, I'm happy to know that he's alive and I'm sorry about what happened to Alana. I hope she gets well." Everyone nodded. He kept staring at the baby and I could tell he already loved his little boy. He looks up and sighs. "I think it's time that I go, I have to go back home." I nod. 

He walks over to me and hands me the baby. As soon as I grabbed him, he started to cry. "Goodbye little one." Colin says and the baby continued to cry. "Umm I'll be keeping in touch, and I'll come and check on Alana." He says and everyone nods. He walks out the door and I sigh as I rocked the baby. 

Poor little Devon all he wanted was to be in his daddy's arms. How I envy Killian at the fact that he's the father of Emma's child. I hand Devon to Emma's mother and I went and sat at Emma's side wishing I could see her gorgeous green eyes again.
