Life is Unpredictable even for a Queen

~Home at Last~

A few days later I get the authorization to leave. Apparently when I was gone Jay, Arie and August helped us rent the apartment next to theirs. Killian and I walked into the new apartment and were greeted by everyone. "Surprise." Everyone said and bowed. I smiled and laughed.

"Oh my gosh you guys." I say as tears were running down my cheek. "Welcome home your majesty." Jay and Arie said as they held hands. That's when I see Arie with an engagement ring. I smiled and squealed. "Oh my gosh you guys!" I said and hugged them "I'm so happy for you both." They both smiled.

"Thank you Emma." Jay said and smiled. I smiled. Arie smiled and held on to my hand. "How about we show you and Killian the new apartment?" I smile and nod. That's when I see August just hanging out in the kitchen. "Let's go show you Devon and Rhea's room." Arie says as they started to walk upstairs.

"I'll go in a bit." I say and Killian comes up to me and smiles. "Meet you up there." I nod. He walks up with Devon in his arms and Rhea to his side. I wanted to stay and talk with August. "So?" I said and I walked over to where August was as he was leaning against the counter.

"You got your family back." He said with a smile. I nod. "And it's all thanks to you. You didn't have to do that." He smiled and grabbed my hand. I smiled as I held on to his hand. "Why did you do it? I asked. He caressed my hand and sighed.

"I love you Emma and seeing you in the coma I went all crazy, and I even kissed you when you were asleep." "You did?" "Yes but you didn't wake up and at that moment I knew that even though I loved you, you weren't going to wake up because someone else was in your heart and that someone is Killian." I looked down.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you like that." He nods. "I had figured out how to get his memory back and I made a memory serum and he got them back. We came running to the hospital and as soon as he kissed you, you woke up. With that it confirmed to me that you still loved him."

I looked down and he grabbed my chin and lifted it up. "Hey, I couldn't lose you and since I knew that was the only way to get you back I did it." He shows me my wedding ring that I had left in the lab. He then slides it on my finger. "You deserve to be happy Emma." He says and he kisses me on the cheek.

I smile. "So do you." He nods. "Well as for me, my happiness right now is to see you happy." I hug him. "Thank you, you gave me the greatest gift of all!" He hugged me back and then he backs away and smiles.

"Hey we still have the sword fight pending." I said and smiled. He laughed. "Once you're better we will fight." He says and half smiles. I nod. "Sounds like a plan." He hugged me again and we stayed there embraced in each other's arms. "Love!" We both hear Killian say from upstairs and we let go of each other.

He laughed and sighed. "And that's my cue to go." I nod. He kissed my forehead and smiled. "See you later Emma." I nod as he walks out the door. Killian comes walking down the steps smiling. "Why are you so smiley?" He smiles. "I was thinking why don't we go out for a walk, just me and you?" I smile.

"I like the sound of that." He smiles and gathers some things and we walk out of the apartment. We walked around and the neighborhood then headed to a park that was close by. It was a beautiful park that had a lake.

I was leaning on him the whole time and our hands never let go. He had brought a blanket and laid it under a tree that was by the lake. We both sat down. He hugged me and smiled. I felt so happy and he started to kiss me. He then leans down and falls on top of me.

"Hey calm down mate not here." I said as I winked and touched his chest. He laughed and shook his head. "I love you Emma." I smiled and caressed his cheek. "And I love you Killian." He leaned down and kissed me one last time. After that we got back up and he hugs me.

"I can't believe we got teleported into a new land and we are living among their residents." I sigh. "I know, it's still surreal for me." I said and he nodded. "I miss it don't you?" He nods. "I do, although here we are able to spend more time together and not have so many knights surroundings us all the bloody time."

I laughed. "Well that's True." He smiles. "Wow we went from being princess Emma and prince Killian to King and Queen to Alana and Colin." I said and laughed. "Oh my gosh that's right your name is Alana, such a horrible name." He says and laughs.

I scoff. "Hey, it's not my fault that's the name I was given here." He laughed. "Hey Colin isn't a good name either." He gasps. "Hey." He said and laughed. I lift my eyebrow and laugh. He shakes his head and kisses me again. He caresses my cheek and and hugs me.

We were there just enjoying our time alone and that's when we see a boy and a girl playing. The girl was dressed as a queen and the boy was dressed as a pirate. We stared at each other and laughed. Then they both took out swords and started fighting and chasing each other around the park.

We laughed again. "So there's our story love." He says and laughs. "Aye captain Killian. The story of a pirate and a queen." I said. He nodded and smiled. "I wouldn't have it any other way my queen."
