*~(M/n)'s Point of View~*
After the whole fiasco with the sweaters, the twins decided to stay for a little while longer until sundown. It was currently afternoon and (M/n) let the twins dig around his stuff. Although, Mabel did pull out some embarrassing pictures now and then. (M/n) just laid on his bed, checking if one of them just read his diary or something.
Dipper found his sketchbook back when he was a kid and opened it, coughing from the dust. (M/n) and Mabel went over to his side and looked at the old faded drawings.
"Hey, is that...?" Dipper trailed off when (M/n) put a hand over the old paper. The drawing consisted of childish depictions of his family. Him, Dad, and Mom. He could feel his heart beat pick up and his lips quivered. "Mom." He said in a sad tone.
Dipper and Mabel looked at each other before turning the next page. This time, a little (M/n) was playing with two colorful men. He laughed.
"I remember this one. I used to have two imaginary friends called Tyd and Lyd. They always made funny faces and we ate candy to pass the time." He breathed a deep sigh and looked at the drawing with a nostalgic look.
Everything was fine when he was a kid. Now he had to worry about trying to cope with this weird town and trying to help a demon in need. He felt arms wrap around his shoulders and noticed it was Dipper who was hugging him. He had a growing blush forming on his face.
"Uhm..." (M/n) uttered out. "Dipper, what are you doing?" Dipper seemed to just notice his arms was wrapped around (M/n) because he jumped back and began saying sorry. Mabel just sat, giving him a cat smile and peace signs. He didn't know what that meant but he tried to calm the brunette down.
After that, Dipper had an idea. "Hey guys. We should check if there are any monsters roaming around the woods-"
"NO!"
The Pines twins looked at (M/n) with complete shock. (M/n) blushed and looked away. "S-sorry. It just came out...I-I don't want to go to the woods just yet because..."
He thought of infinite possibilties of how he was going to try and convince Dipper and Mabel not to go to the forest. Yet, all of them didn't seem to fit. So instead, he just spoke what came up in his head.
"There were wolves howling last night and I-I'm scared of wolves!" (M/n) said, fear lacing his voice. The two looked at each other before nodding their heads. They bought it! The (H/c) haired male breathed a sigh of relief and and sat once again on his bed. Nice save (M/n).
After a couple more hours, Dipper and Mabel decided it was time for them to go and said their goodbyes to (M/n) and his Dad.
"We'll see you tomorrow at the Mystery Shack, (M/n)!" Mabel yelled before running after her brother.
Walking back to his room, (M/n) looked out the window. The sky was decorated with faded strips of pink, purple, blue, orange. With clouds turning wispy and dancing with the colors. He let out a content sigh and enjoyed the view.
Before he knew it, his eyes closed and he drifted off to the land of dreams.
*Timeskip
Luckily, no Bill invading his dreams. Opening his (E/c) colored eyes, (M/n) yawned and stretched, popping some joints. The sky was dancing with stars and soft traces of clouds.
He checked his clock and realized it was 10:11. It's really late but he isn't sleepy yet.
Suddenly, he jumped when he heard a familiar voice inside his head.
"Can you hear me? (M/n)?" Oh boy, it was Bill's voice. He sounded concerned. He decided to reply back.
"Yeah? I can hear you? How are you doing that?" (M/n) asked, curious. He heard Bill sigh and shuffle a bit.
