*~(M/n)'s Point of View~*

(M/n)'s heart almost wanted to race out of his chest. Was Dipper kissing him? In the place where...He wanted to pull away. Right this instant. He placed his hands on Dipper's chest and pushed him away. Rather a bit too harshly. Dipper looked confused and surprised  as he raised his hand to cup (M/n)'s face, but he backed away. Tears prickled in his eyes as he clutched his chest.

"NO! D-Dipper, I..." He stopped when he saw Dipper lowering his head, clenching his fists. He held his breath. The sounds that came out were unbearable. The brunette's voice cracked as he began to cry.

"I-I knew it...I KNEW that this wouldn't work. I already predicted this would happen because I knew you and William were dating. This was hopeless..." He said, tears falling quickly.

Before the brunette could dash away, (M/n) caught his wrist and looked at him seriously. His own tears were threatening to fall at any moment, ready to drip on the forest floor. The sky was being covered with clouds, gray as ash and ready to cause a shower. His lips quivered.

"Dipper...Please don't run away. I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings..." He said, guilt flashing in his eyes.

Dipper used his other hand to slick back his chocolate brown hair, his birthmark in full view. His voice was strained with hurt. "So is it true? You and William...are dating?"

The question was pressuring (M/n) really bad. He felt like all the air around him was sucked out and he was suffocating. His stomach was tied in knots. But he managed to whisper a quiet, "Yes..."

Everything became quiet. The rain had begun to pour over them, soaking their clothes. But both of them didn't care. The suffocating silence began to bother (M/n) greatly. Why was this so hard to do?

He did the only thing he could think of. And that was to hug Dipper. He wrapped his arms around his torso, resting his head on his shoulder. It seemed to bother Dipper a lot, considering he had just known the newfound information he had been given.

"Dipper, you're amazing. I'll be completely honest. Even though we don't exactly know a lot about each other yet, I could already tell that you were such a great friend. But I'm really sorry to have to deny your confession..." He managed to say.

Dipper said nothing in return. He just laid his head on (M/n)'s and exhaled, like he had been holding his breath for a long time. He wrapped his owb arms around (M/n)'s waist. For a while, he managed to say something.

"It's okay...I get it. I get that you like another guy. I get that we're only gonna be close friends. But tell me this..." Dipper hardened his grip on his waist. "William isn't what he seems, is he?"

It felt like a lightning bolt was electrocuting him. (M/n) choked on his own saliva (which is unnecessarily gross). He held his breath. Did Dipper know that 'William' was Bill all along? The thought punctured his skull. Dipper looked at him dead in the eyes, his hazelnut eyes melting into dull color. "Well?"

"Dipper, I...What are you talking about? I don't know-"

"Don't act like your an idiot, (M/n). I know you heard me." He deadpanned.  The fact that Dipper wasn't normally like this...it scared (M/n). He bit his lip and let his tears fall. He was so scared right now. Terrified even. Was this what his dream was telling him about?

A hand suddenly gripped his throat. His eyes widened as he tried to breathe. He tried to get Dipper's hand off but with each increasing second, his grip grew tighter. Dipper looked at him with disgust as he yelled.

"TELL ME! I KNOW WILLIAM ISN'T HUMAN!" (M/n) began to choke and his vision was all blurred out. His grip loosened and he managed to scream.

"HE'S BILL, OKAY?!" He screamed as tears flowed out of his usual glimmering (E/c) eyes. They widened as he realized what he said. Dipper was the same. He completely lost his grip and (M/n) hurriedly fell and backed away.

Did he just blow his cover? Obviously. He literally screamed Bill's name. He wondered it was loud enough to hear it. He tried to catch his breath. He heard Dipper's normal wavering voice again. Not the scary serious voice.

"W-What? You're joking right? Please tell me you're joking." Dipper asked.

The look on (M/n)'s face was the sign that he wasn't joking.

His whimpers and hiccups were the only thing breaking the silence. Drops of rain began to fall and increase with each passing second. The two were soaked in the rain, not saying a word. The crickets chirped and played with each other in the wet grass. Flowers had water dripping down their petals. It was almost like no one cared about the conversation that took place.

"So my arch nemesis...is dating my crush? Haha...hahaha...such a cruel joke." Dipper's voice cracked like a fragile mirror.

"Dipper...please-"

"Don't talk to me. I don't ever want to see your face anymore." He deadpanned once more. He turned his heel and started walking towards the opposite side of the clearing.

(M/n) gripped the sides of his arms and kept crying, jumping when he heard Dipper's voice again.

"If you ever show your face in the Mystery Shack again, I'll make sure to shoot you with one of Great Uncle Ford's laser guns." He threatened.

(M/n) felt nauseous. One of his friends threatened to shoot him. Bile began building up in his throat as he spit it out. He was scared. So very scared. All he wanted right now was to lay down, just say this was a dream.

His eyesight blurred as he collapsed, looking at the darkening forest surrounding him. He heard footsteps getting louder as he tried to cover up the sounds. He didn't want to think right now.

Before knew it, (M/n) was turned around and he was faced with two men, both looking at him with grinning faces.

"Long time no see, (M/n)."

*~Dipper's Point of View~*

As he was practically sprinting back towards the Mystery Shack, tears came running down his face and dripping down, in rhythm with the rain.

"WHY DID I SAY THAT!" He yelled to himself. His foot got stuck in a loose tree branch and he faceplanted on the cold, wet, and muddy forest ground. He was even more wet now. He clenched his fists and pulled himself up, more tears piling in his eyes. He facepalmed.

"I'm an idiot."
