*~(M/n)'s Point of View~*

The morning sunlight seeped through the windows, bringing light to room. The glinting of the medical equipment added to it. Hands spread out, now clenched. (E/c) eyes slowly opened, an unfamiliar wooden ceiling above him. His breathing was even, his chest slowly moving up and down. His memory was faded. What happened, exactly?

(M/n) laid there on the bed, confused. Where was he? He turned his head to the side, seeing a familiar figure hunched over, sleeping. His familiar chocolate colored hair, navy blue jacket, pine tree hat...

"Dipper...?" He questioned to himself. He then remembered what Dipper had done to him before and sat up. But a sharp pain made him yelp in pain. He raised his shirt up, his eyes not believing what he saw.

Bandages were wrapped around his stomach, a bit of red seeping from his side. (M/n) held his head. "No way...none of that...was a dream?" He whispered to himself.

"(M/n)?" He heard someone say behind him. (M/n) turned to the source of the voice. Dipper was awake, and his eyes were wide. His hair was dishevled and his eyes were puffy. The (H/c) haired male scratched the back of his head. "Yeah?"

"Ah...Bill was right...he brought you back..." Dipper said before smiling and tearing up. The name was familiar to (M/n). His eyes widened.

Then all of it came back.

Bill Cipher, a Dream Demon, a Dorito, a stubborn roommate, his master...

His lover.

(M/n) quickly grabbed both of Dipper's shoulders and yelled. "Where's Bill? Is he okay?! Did something happen to him?! Dipper, if you know anything, please tell me!" He said exasperatedly.

Dipper was surprised. But he looked away. His expression was of worry. "Bill..." He started. "He went to consult Death and get back your soul. We waited two days for him to come back, but he never did..."

It was obvious he was shocked too. The thought of not knowing what happened to Bill just made him guilty and worried. (M/n) on the other hand, was far more guilty. His grip weakened, the look on his face looked like he was about to cry.

"Bill...how could he? All this...for me? He shouldn't have done that, he didn't have to, he didn't need to...now..." (M/n) broke down, tears unable to stop. This was all his fault. Now, he felt empty. That pain in his side had become numb. Instead, pain welled up inside him. "What do I do?"

Dipper didn't know what to do. He just stared at (M/n) painfully. He stood up and hugged the sobbing male, who immediately hugged back. His shirt began to become damp but he didn't care, (M/n) needed this.

"He'll be back. I'm sure." Dipper reassured, digging his fingers in (M/n)'s messy locks of hair. His reply was muffled by him digging his face onto his shirt, but Dipper could make out what he said. "How can you be so sure?"

"Because Bill loves you too much to ever leave you alone. And I bet you feel the same." He stated.

(M/n)'s crying suddenly stopped. He removed his face from Dipper's shirt and looked at him with red and puffy eyes. He was right though. He loved him back as much as he loved him. Right now, it was like he reverted back into a kid. Scared of being lost and alone.

"Will he really come back?" (M/n) asked, his tone almost child-like. Dipper nodded, smiling. "Yep."

"Promise me?" (M/n) held out his pinky, urging the brunette to do it. Dipper sighed, and wrapped his pinky with his. "It's a promise."

(M/n) smiled. His old, happy, silly smile that could brighten anyone's day. They both heard the door open and they both turned to look who opened it.
