He woke up without Niall beside him. He knows it was unlikely to happen again, since he's an insecure asshole and Niall is an awkward pussy, they both departed after binge watching Orange Is the New Black.

The sun shines directly inside his room, the rays casting against his bed sheets making him both hot and annoyed. Calvin tosses the blanket from his body, half of the material falling off the bed and the rest hanging on the edge. He runs his hands through his hair, groaning before turning off the alarm on his phone and searching through the little box by his bed for the container of pills. He had put them inside his room so Niall wouldn't see them if he happened to get himself a cup from the kitchen.

Without any water, he swallows the two pills. Unfortunately, they didn't work very fast, leading the small boy to collapse back onto his bed and sigh loudly. The sun continues burning his uncovered leg, however, he didn't care much at all as he waits for the pain to slightly subside before actually getting prepared for the start of his day- which consisted of a doctor appointment at eight and afterwards working at the small shop just by the hospital.

The thing is, he gets money from the government that provides for things such as medical bills and precriptions. Luckily enough for him, the hospital already pays partial amount for the bills while he pays the rest and gets to keep the 'extra' money. The half day job during the week is to finish off paying for rent each month, which is quite expensive when you live in a state such as California.

He gets ready, not bothering to look at least the slightest bit decent, since he'll just end up being shirtless half the time, anyway. And he didn't mind being shirtless in front of the other nurses and doctors, since they deal with much worse cases. A scar is definitely not something one of them would stare at, even for a slight second.

He gets an apple that's on the counter by the sink, taking off the little sticker on it and washing it off with a bit of cold water. After he dries it off, he takes a small bite into the fruit. Calvin makes his way to the door, almost forgetting his hoodie and keys, and closes it behind him. The keys in his hand make small rattling noises while he locked the door, and his hoodie hung across his arm.

He turns around, seeing his boyfriend- he still hasn't gotten used to it, although he likes how the title sounds- talking to his close friend in front of his house. Calvin ducks his head down, not wanting to get caught up in any type of situation or possibly have Roman mention anything that's Calvin had told him.

The two seemed to caught up in their own conversation to notice him quickly getting into his car, struggling to put on his hoodie as well. Until Niall's voice alerts the shorter boy, making him groan inwardly and quickly look over at the tall brit with a small smile on his face. "What's up?" The blond questions, already walking over to him. Calvin sighs, his smile growing a bit wider when Niall hugs him, the soft warmth radiating from his figure making Calvin feel less stressed about his day. "I'm going somewhere for the day, I'll probably be back late though," Calvin mumbles, still hugging Niall back. They pull away when Roman yells from the front of Niall's house about Nutella, making Calvin roll his eyes.

"Ignore him," Niall says which is followed by a small laugh. He reaches out to slowly grasp Calvin's hand in his own, their fingers tangling together delicately. "I know," Calvin says, looking at their hands which are still together. His fingers are visibly shaking, the harder he tries ti make them stay still the more he feels them annoyingly shake in a messy pattern. Calvin pulls his hand away, "I'm sorry, I gotta go. I'll- I'll see you later though, yeah? Maybe tomorrow."
