You and Gray walked down the streets of Magnolia. The heated sun made it difficult for you to be seen in public with your recent date. With Gray's violent stripping habit, he was almost always naked. All. The. Time.

You felt rather ashamed. Your face burned with a furious heat. Gray had removed his shirt yet again. "G-Gray," you blushed. "Your shirt. Your god damn shirt. My Mavis..."

It was strange for you to always be so raw and innocent. There was one point when you were raging with confidence. But now, wherever you went with Gray, you were reduced to embarrassment, always hidden behind a blush.

"Ah, crap." He uttered. "Sorry (y/n)." The ice-make mage fumbled around for his button-down shirt, replacing his bare skin with the white material. "It just acts up a lot because..."

You tune out to his mumbling excuses. A glimmering stone on a nearby stand catches your attention. With an undeniable curiosity, you slip through a few clusters of people, and away from the ice-mage. The old man who ran the store, gave you a toothy smile, to which you returned—of course though, with a lot more tooth.

You pave your hand across the necklace, the bright, turquoise stone on the end beamed at you.

"Pretty, huh?" The voice was new to you. You spun around to face a white-haired man. He had dark, slanting eyes that made him come across as arrogant. You liked that. It intrigued you.

"It is," you agreed most favourably, picking the stone off the table.

The man closed in slightly and extended a hand. You took it as he introduced himself. "I'm Lyon. And I uncovered that stone from deep within the mountains of the Hakobe region."

You pressed your lips into a curt smile and quirked a brow. "How brave."

Lyon looked amused. "Of course," he said, taking the necklace out of your hand, "So much trouble for such a stone, would be most fitting for a lady of your beauty."

His words made your heart race. Not in the sense that his flirting was working on you, it's just that you hadn't had a small-talk conversation like this since the beginning of the year. Gray had always seemed to get too naked before it could ever progress into something more meaningful.

You stepped closer towards Lyon, and you saw his eyes narrow further. "You haven't even asked for my name," your words dripped with deep honey.

Before Lyon could splutter out a reply, a fist collided with the mysterious man's jaw. Your (e/c) eyes widened at the scene unfolding before you.

It way Gray. The man you were supposed to be hanging out with.

Gray and Lyon dodged, threw and deflected punches in their direction.
You arched a brow, now unamused.

"Gray."

He didn't respond.

"Gray!"

The man whose name that belonged to gave Lyon a backhand to the cheek before glaring at you. Naturally, you were taken aback by his expression.

With a little less confidence, you reached out for his hand and dragged him away. "What is wrong with you?" you muttered.

Gray pushed you off to the side, hiding the both of you behind a wall. His face was pulled up into a dangerous scowl. You suppressed a more hideous one from forming.

"Don't go off like that."

"What you did was overkill..."

The ice-make mage didn't respond, so you continued. "Do you know him?"

"Yeah." His words were grumpy.

You blinked, deadpanned. "You're jealous."

Gray went red, bringing an angry fist to the air. "I am not jealous!" He yelled.

You smirked, pleased with the control you had. "Yeah okay. Whatever you say." You then turned on your heel and walked away.

An infuriated Gray trudged behind you, emitting a displeased aura.
