The weekend has reached and Jacob and I agreed to go out to breakfast on this rainy Saturday morning. This will be the third time we hung out, and first time as being each other’s boyfriends. But this won’t be considered as a real first date because he want me to bring Ashton along to eat breakfast with us.
Last night, he invited me over to his house for pizza. We talked the night the away and started confessing. It was an amazing night if you ask me, until Jacob admitted that story that mostly Bre, Craig, and I been stuck on at work. He told me that he’s Jacqueline and was sexually assaulted until he was brainwashed into incest. Jacob also excluded the fact that his uncle force him to become a prostitute as a minor.
I didn’t wanna mentioned that he lied to me on that Tuesday night because I was nowhere in the mood of starting conflict. It was a tearful story that after the moment, I was nice enough to give him some conciliatory. . . and that’s when the point I concede something from my heart. Like, he looks like the one that love to take care of Ashton alongside with me. Deep down, I thought he’ll reject that; but he took it like it was a cherishing Christmas gift. Then I diffidently asked may I be in his life even more by becoming his boyfriend and he acquiesced and got more excited. It was sweet when he said that I was his predilection.
Currently, the three of us dining and conversing at this restaurant that my compadres always go after we party at a club, The Waffle House.
“So is you gonna be my dad too?” Ashton questioned Jacob as she hold her fork.
“Well, if you want me too,” Jacob smiled.
“I think it’s cool to have two daddies,” Ashton mentioned. “But I don’t know where mom is gonna fit.”
“Yeah, Chresanto. Where’s mom gonna fit?” Jacob questioned in sarcasm.
“I told her that I don’t---”
“That’s not a good answer,” He interrupted. “You know lying to your daughter is completely unacceptable.”
I see what Jacob trying to make me do. He thinks it’s right here and now to tell Ashton the truth about Lauryn. I did wanted to wait when she turn six-years-old, so she can understand more better. This’ll be one of the hardest obstacle ever.
“Do I have to?” I groaned.
“Yes,” Jacob snarled.
“Fine,” I groaned once again and turned my full attention on Ashton, becoming hesitant. “Alright. . . the honest reason that mom isn’t coming back because, uhh…”
