Last month it was announced that Wreck it Ralph 2 was officially in the works and going to be released on May 8, 2018.
Why am I bringing this up? Because the upcoming movie's plot takes place on the Internet, therefore making this fanfiction unable to accurately fit into the canon.
While I am really excited for this film to come out, this fact has caused me to lose interest in this fanfiction because it will now on just feel very off to me. I'm not saying I won't get back to it, it's just that I really wanted for this to fit accurately into the canon so it seems more legit.
Perhaps I can just work on it later whenever I find the interest to do so, and I can just label it as my own little au of sorts. So, until then, just view this as a first draft.
I'm sorry to cut this off, especially since I absolutely hate it when fanfictions do this, but this is just what I have to do for now. I promise I'll bring it back somehow one day. Until then, let's all just sit around and pray that he comes back in the sequel. Who knows - I might just write another fanfiction around that instead.
