"Cmon pick up..." I muttered while the phone rang. I sighed sitting down as it continued to ring driving me crazy. "We're sorry the person you are trying to reach is not available please leave a message at the tone.." I hit the end button and slammed my phone down on the bed. "How many times had you tried to reach him?" Lex asked leaning against the doorway. " like 20 times.." I chuckled. "Gosh.." I let my face fall into my hands. "I can't do this alone lex." I sighed out.

"He won't answer my calls.." I chuckled bitterly as lex strode over to the bed sitting next to me. "Hey hey hey! Eva c'mon!" He put his hand on my back looking down at me. "Your not doing this alone! Ok? I'm here and ill help! I mean I have no experience with kids but.." He trailed off. "We've gotta call your dad.." Lex mumbled out. "What? Hell no!" My words rushed out. "Listen Eva, I don't like the guy either but..." He but his lip. "He is probably the only one who can help us out a little. Maybe give you or us some advice or be a grandad?."

Lex's hand moved to my phone . "Just see what he says?" Lex's words came out like a question. I bit my lip debating if I should or not. "Fine!" I breathed out taking the phone and dialing it. "Hello?" A female voice picked up. "Who's this?" I asked in confusion. "This is Christina Wayne.... " she trailed off. "Who's this?" She asked. "This is Eva Wayne.." There was a pause on the other line. "Can I speak to my dad please?" I asked annoyed with her. "I don't know can you?" She bitterly said. "Hello?" I heard my dads voice on the other line. "Dad.." I whispered. "Eva I told you to stay out of my life.." He trailed off. "I know but dad I've got some news to tell you and-" he cut me off. "Eva what could you possible want?" He snapped. I felt a lump in my throat. "I'm pregnant." There was a long and uncomfortable pause on the other line.

"It's jokers.." I trailed off. "Oh that's great he knocked you up !" Dad yelled. "Was it a hit and run Eva?" He asked. "Dad.." I breathed out nervous of what he'd say. "He left you didn't he?!" He snapped. "Where the hell are you?" My dad sighed out.

I have him my address and hung up. "Well he's coming over tomorrow.." I sighed to lex. "Alright.." He trailed off. I rested my hand on my tummy. Lex chuckled looking down. "Well at least that baby is gonna have a great mom." Lex smiled to me. I smiled back. "Yeah I guess but it's gonna grow up without a dad." I sighed. "Imagine how it'll be for it. What will I say when it asks about it's dad?" I bit my bottom lip . "Just tell it everything when the times right and...hope for the best?" Lex question tilting his head. I nodded and stood up. "Um Is it ok if I borrow the car and go to the store?" I asked him. He nodded handing me the keys.

I drove around to the store, the parking lot was full so I had to park farther away. I walked into the store digging in my pockets for my wallet. "There you are.." I mumbled pulling it out and bumping Into a woman. "Oh I'm so sorry ma'am.." I said looking up. "Lois ? " I breathed out of surprise. "Oh Eva hi!" She smiled to me. I looked down at her tummy which was quite grown. "What do you think of this one?" Clark kent walked up holding a blue baby t shirt. "Oh hey Eva!" He gave me a confused smile and pushed up his glasses. "What're you doing here?" He asked me putting an arm around Lois shoulders. "Well my dad kicked me outta the house a while ago and I've been living here in metropolis." I explained. "Oh why'd he kick you out?" Lois asked tilting her head and resting her hand on her baby bum tummy. I explained everything with the joker and my baby. "Oh I'm so sorry. " Lois said though she probably didn't really mean it. "Yeah, well I see your also expecting." I smiled to her.

"Yeah yeah a baby boy!" She grinned looking Down at her tummy. "Oh that's great! How far pregnant are you?" I asked. "Six months!" She nodded. "Oh well that's great! Thought of any names?" I smiled to her. "Yeah his name is Mark. Mark Greg kent!" She giggled happily.

"Aw well congrats!" I hugged her. "Yeah well we should be going. It was great to see you Eva!" Clark said giving me a hug. "You too.." I said as they left.
