"Hey.." I trailed off awkwardly after he picked up on the second ring.
"Hey." He spoke swiftly. "You alright?" He asked quivering a bit. "Yeah i am... Um I won't be coming home cause joker an I are .." I trailed off again smiling to myself. "Back together." There was an awkward yet tension filled pause on the other line. "Lex are you still there..?" I awkwardly stumbled my words. "Yes Eva I'm still here.." He sighed out sounding a bit annoyed.
"You ok?" I trailed off. There was another pause as I pressed my lips together in a tight thin line.
"I'm perfect! I'm fantastic! Wonderful!" He trailed off the sarcasm high in his voice. "I'm on top of the world.." He slowly said each word.
"Uh.." I awkwardly let out. "Ok..." I shifted uncomfortably.
I heard him sigh on the other line.
"You just don't get it do you Ev?" He whispered.
"Get what?" I awkwardly asked. There was another awkward pause on the other end. I felt joker wrap his arms around my waist from behind making me almost giggle. I felt his lips kiss my neck.
"It's nothing Eva." He stuttered. "I'll see you at work.." Before I could reply he hung up.
I sat my phone down and gave jack a simple yet teasing peck on the cheek before sitting down on the couch. He sat next to me. "So what will we name it?" Jack quietly asked putting his arm casually around me.
"Hmm I don't know..." I trailed off leaning on him. "If it's a boy lets name it Alex.." I yawned out.
"No lets name it Damon.." He pleaded against.
"Damon Ace Alex Wayne?" I whispered questioningly. "That sounds pretty swell?" I asked looking up at him.
"Yeah that sounds great!" Joker agreed."but if it's a girl?"
He asked.
"I don't know.. Mary?" I tilted my head. "No..." I pressed my lips into a line thinking.
"Jessica?" He asked.
I shook my head no. "How bout Victoria?" I whispered.
"No.." He trailed off in thought.
"How bout when the baby's born and if it's a girl. We name it when we see it?" I asked him tilting my head.
"Yeah ok..." He whispered. "But Damon for sure? If its a boy..?" He asked.
"Yep.." I nodded.

I sat nervously at my desk. Lex hasn't showed up yet which made me very very very nervous.
"Ah Cindi!" I heard lex's voice come from down the hall. "Looking great as always!" He casually said before he strolled into the office not looking at me.
"Hey lex.." I said standing up. "Do you want coffee or something?" I stuttered. He kept his gaze on the files in his hand.
"No Ms. Wayne.." He sighed out. He never called me that before...
"Uh Ms. Wayne?" I questioned the name. He finally looked up to me.
"Your last names Wayne isnt it?" He asked a bit annoyed. I simple nodded a yes before sitting back down.
