LEX LUTHOR'S P.O.V

"Eva Wayne!" I grinned as she walked into the office. "My,my,my, my! You look absolutely ravishing today!" I exclaimed as I stood up placing my hands on my hips examining her. She blushed slightly and brushed a piece of her dark hair out if her face and placed her hand on her growing tummy. She was beautiful, absolutely glowing, I don't think I've ever known such beauty until my eyes fell on her that one time....

Flashback about a year ago....

"Ah Bruce Wayne meets Clark kent! I love it ! I love bringing people together!" I exclaimed placing my hands on my hips smirking wildly. I studied the bat and Superman. The tension between them. The tension I had been causing. Yes my plan would work. I'd take down Superman and drag the bat to hell along with him. My smile widened as I thought of it. My eyes trailed off to behind Bruce Wayne and they widened as I witnessed a goddess... I sighed out as I took her beauty in. Dark locks, curious dark brown eyes, a beautiful body that was draped in an elegant yet smashing long dark blue dress, and a smile that was plastered on her face. It was a simple fake smile. A smile you'd make when your at a party bored and alone. But it was a beautiful one. And her real, meaningful smile must be stunning. I let the world fade away as I took her in drowning my eyes with her presence. She was a mere few feet away. So close yet so far you could say... I felt myself snap back to reality as I felt Mersi tap on my shoulder.. "Lex.." She slightly whispered in my ear. "Hmm?" I slightly turned to her. "The governor..." She said pushing up her glasses and giving a polite smile to both Clark and Bruce. "Ah right the governor! If you'll excuse me!" I said to Bruce and Clark before turning away on my heels. "What a nutcase.." I heard Bruce whisper to himself as he walked off and Clark curiously followed him. Such a remark would usually upset me but after what I witnessed I don't think anything could.

One simple glance made me feel on top of the world. But hey I was just a hopeless romantic and she was probably out of my league. A mystery girl who's real name I didn't even know yet..

As I was near approaching the governor with Mersi at my side I stopped in my tracks. "Uh Mersi the governors gonna have to wait I have an important guest to attend to.." I smirked building up the courage to talk to the beautiful angel.

I was close to her but not that close . Not for her to notice me anyway. I sighed. Do I talk to her? Or do I not talk to her? She glanced at me with her beautiful fake smile. I felt my heart beat quicken and my eyes widen. It was a simple glance. It meant nothing to her. It last only a second. And yet it replayed in my mind...

I opened my mouth to speak but Bruce interrupted walking past me to her. "Eva c'mon it's time to go.." He said as she stood up. "Dad you really need to stop dragging me to these.." She yawned out, her smile no longer there.

"Eva..." I whispered. Such a pretty name. A pretty name that belonged to a pretty girl whose dad just happened to be the enemy. The pawn in my plan. Maybe it's best that I didn't know her. I don't want to live with the guilt of the results of my plan. I frowned as I watched her walk away. But I didn't want her out of my life. "Eva Wayne.." I felt the taste of her name on my lips. If love at first sight is true then surely ill get another opportunity to see her again... I convinced myself.

Flash back to the present....

"Thanks lex." She slightly giggled.

" So the baby's coming soon huh?" I asked pointing to her tummy.

"Yeah.." She smiled as she looked down at her belly.

"Find out if its a boy or a girl?" I asked curiously tilting my head.
