James Clarke stood in Grand Central Station waiting for his sister's train to come. He heard a train approaching, it stopped in the station and he saw it was his sister's train so he walked up to the platform to wait for her to disembark. As soon as Rebecca stepped off the train James could tell something was wrong. She ran into his arms crushing the flowers he had bought for her.

"Charles Dervish has been murdered on the train," she said in between tears.

James pulled Rebecca away from his chest, "Are you absolutely sure?" he asked, startled.

"Y-Yes," she sniffled, "I found his body in his compartment. He was on his back, there was blood everywhere, I think someone slit his throat. The crew left the body alone at my request. I think you need to see it, they said they could give the case to your precinct so you can work on it. I think he was murdered while we were passing through Indiana and then I think the murderer must have gotten off at the South Bend station or here," she looked around as if expecting him to jump out at her.

"Well, let's go then, I need to see the crime scene so I can determine what happened exactly," James said.

"Yes, of course," she started walking off towards the train James followed. Once they reached his room Rebecca took a deep breath and opened the door.
