Sam
The way Kiefer reacted last night makes me really worried. The sudden change in his expression when I mentioned Jeric was very noticeable. I didn't really comprehend that and I'm still not sure on what to think about it. But it made me sad and weary.
Ugh. This is so frustating. I can't sleep because I can't stop thinking about it. Did I do something wrong? What did I do?
I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and saw Simmy. She was about to smile but stopped, then she looked confused.
"What happened to you?" She asked. I opened the door wide to let her in. I went back to my bed. Simmy followed and sat beside me.
"Did you sleep? You look like a zombie." She said.
"I slept for like 30 mins." I said truthfully.
"Huh? Bakit?" She asked.
"I can't sleep. I think I slept around 2 kanina. Then I woke up din around 2:30. Then I can't go back to sleep na." I told her.
"Why?" She smiled deviously. "Did you have fun last night?" She teasingly said. I continued to frown at her.
"You didn't like the surprise?!" Simmy's eyes grew larger.
"No! It's was great. I liked it." I answered immediately.
"Then what's wrong?" she asked worriedly.
"That's what I'm thinking right now. Kiefer just drifted away last night." I said.
"Ano ba nangyari?" She continued asking.
I told Simmy everything that had happened last night.
Simmy looked like she going to throw me out of the window but instead she tried to calm herself, closed her eyes and heaved out a heavy sigh. "Sam, I will be a very good friend to you now. So, I'm gonna shut my mouth and let you realize things on your own." She said. That made me more confuse.
I tried to give her a please-I'm-begging-you-tell-me-what's-happening look but she shook her head.
"Please? Nakakaloka mag-isip." I said to her.
"Sam, don't think. Feel. Just for now, use your heart not your mind." She said. I mentally screamed at her. This is so frustrating.
"Now, do you still want to go around then watch the boys' championship or do you want to get some rest?" She asked.
"I think I'll go with you. To get my head off some things" I said as she nodded.
I stood up then started preparing myself.

And I really thought I would get my head off of things. Now, that I'm here watching the boys, I got more confused. When Simmy and I arrived at the University of St. La Salle, where the game will be, we were happily welcomed by the boys except Kiefer. He just smiled at us vaguely and just nodded at me, much to the surprise of everybody. Von gave me a questioning look. All I could do is raise my shoulders and send him my silent I-don't-know look.
"Anung ginawa mo? Kagabi pa yan nung dumating galing sa date niyo." Von asked when he reached me.
"I don't know." That's all I can say.
Simmy whispered something to Von. Then he looked shocked? exasperated? He was about to say something to me but Simmy pulled him back. She then whispered something to him again. Nakakainis kaya yun.
"Sammie, please think. Sarap mong pektusan." Von said.
"Thanks Von, that made me feel more shitty." I said making sure that ,y sarcasm is obvious.
