Gretchen's POV

I woke up on a bed but it wasn't Joe's bed

My head was aching and my heart beating rapidly

I reached for the water on the nightstand and finished it

I should never drink again

I'm prohibited from drinking and if i continue doing this I might die

I can't really remember anything from lastnight

I scanned the room

Then a knock came to the door

The knob turned and it was Zoe

I sighed in relief

"Goodmorning Gre-gretchen" She says with a breaking voice as she enters

I remembered i was at Zoe's party lastnight

"Uhm morning Zoe" I gave a weak smile

"You feel okay?" She sits down on beside my toes

"Yes, why'd you asked?" I shrug my shoulders

"Because you were drunk from lastnight, don't you remember anything?" She asks with a slight frown

"Uhm no, did i did anything stupid?" I asked worriedly

"No you haven't, by the way i've made breakfast downstairs just go down if you want to join us" She stands up and she looks blue

"Okay sure thanks" I smile at her

Why is she feeling blue or like she's upset or something

I sat up and freshen myself at the bathroom

I wash my face and wiped it using a face towel

After that, i head downstairs and saw Joe laying down on the couch

There was an aroma of waffles and bacon

It was precisely nine in the morning

I sat on the floor and stroke his hair

I smile at the sound of him snoring

"I love you Joe" i whisper

"I love you most Gretchen" He mumbles with his eyes closed

I gasped

"Joe you're awake" I giggle

"No i'm not" he denies with a fail

I laughed and pinched his nose

"See? You're lying to your own girlfriend" I pout

"Sorry baby, i won't do it ever again" he bats his eyes open

"It's okay, i was just playing with you" i chuckle and smiled at him

"Good" he sighs

"Morning" I smile warmly at him

"Goodmorning love" he giggles

"Hey you two loveboats get on the table and eat your waffles and bacons before it gets cold" Alfie reminded as he sat down on the slumber bag

"Come on Joe, time for breakfast, i know you love bacon" I caressed his cheek

"Yes you do baby" He grins

I laugh

"Joe come on let's eat" I pull his arm gently

"But i wanna eat something else" He whines
