Chapter 22

Joe's POV

I arrived home broken hearted.

I put the groceries in my mom's kitchen.

Just on top of the counter.

"Thank you honey for doing the grocery for me" Mum said

"No problem mum, here's your blueberry cake just like how you like them" I gave a sigh and pushed a smile

"Awww thank you love" My mum hugs me happily

"You're welcome mum" I hugged back and rubbed her back

Then she lets go.

She noticed the frown I was trying to hide.

"Are you okay?" She mumbled while caressing my cheek

"Yes mum, I'm just really tired and I'm sorry but I need to go now" I shook my head

"Oh okay, always take care of yourself okay? Mommy loves you" She places a kiss on my forehead

"Love you too mum" I smile at her

It didn't took long until I arrived back home.

I headed towards the couch and plopped myself ontop of it.

Ugh it's been rough knowing the one you love is taken.

Then my phone started buzzing in my pants.

I groaned.

I took it and it was a message from Caspar.

From Caspar:

Hey Joe, wanna come and jacuzzi with me?

To Caspar:

Thanks man, where the hell did you bought a jacuzzi?

From Caspar:

I'm obviously in a hotel right now, I'm in room 90 at Heathrows hotel but you know where's the jacuzzi so see you there !

I turned my phone off.

30 minutes in a hot soothing jacuzzi is all I need to ease the pain in my chest right now.

I packed my trunks, two shirts,joggers, denim shorts, underwear and boxers.

I feel like sleeping at Caspar's for tonight.

I feel so lonely at home right now.

I took my bag and walked out my house.

I hopped in my car and drove to Heathrows Hotel.

I arrived at the hotel and changed into my trunks in the changing room.

I placed my towel on my shoulder.

And I need to walk through the swimming pool to reach the jacuzzi.

I walked my way and it was a bright day.

It makes me squint my eyes.

It honestly gives me a blurry vision.

Then someone ran towards me and made me fell straight to the floor.

I can tell who the person is.

But based on my hand placed on her back it's a woman.

It was smooth.

I opened my eyes to see who it was and it was Gretchen.

"My god, I'm sorry" She gasped

She had widened eyes as she saw me.

I gazed at her brown eyes.

She was beautiful at this angle.
