"God fucking dammit."
I felt the first tear fall down my face. All of our hard work, for nothing. "That's why Freddie's alive again. That's why he didn't die."
Xyla was crying her eyes out next to me. "What do we do?" she asks. These are the first words she's spoken, finally taking a stand and understanding that I can't lead us anymore. I feel defeated. Drained. Depressed. Any other "D" words you can think of.
"She killed Kori, didn't she?" I gasped.
All I got back was a sad look. It felt weird having this personal of a conversation in this building. There are people around us, witches and wizards who have no idea what is happening in our life right now, laughing and carrying on. They have no idea that these bad, bad people are coming back.
"Wait. How do we know you aren't lying to us? How do we know you aren't those crazy people you were talking about that still follow Voldemort?" I asked, red faced and flustered.
"Do you remember that rat in your room?" Ronald asked.
I didn't ask how he knew about that, all I said was. "Pettigrew."

We said our goodbyes to Xyla's parents, getting their information so we could be in touch with them. I felt fury towards them, for ruining our lives just a little bit more. But then again, we never really were at peace, were we? We never really will be. We fought, and now we have to take the consequences.
I conjured a patronus and sent it off to find Harry. We had a long talk with Fred and George in the makings. They're gonna be pissed that we went off, finding Xyla's parents.
Xyla invited them over to dinner tomorrow night. Funny, right? I just found out my crazy mother is back from the dead and Xyla invites her parents over to family game night.
We walked back into Fortescue's ice cream parlor, finding Fred and George still in the same booth, looking bored out of their minds.
As soon as Fred looked at me, he knew that something was wrong. He ran up to me and embraced me in his arms. Only then did I start shaking. Only then did the tears come falling really fast. Because at one point, I'm happy he's alive. But another, bad people were brought back with him and I don't know how to explain any of this to the man I love.
"Let's go home. The ice cream's melted anyways," he told me, wrapping his arm around my waist and leading me outside.

Harry was already there once we showed up to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. He was perched outside on a bench, and had come alone, knowing this was probably very important.
We explained everything to Fred, George, and Harry, wondering if this was even remotely possible.
"It is very possible. But you can't mess with death, so the outcome is going to be relatively hard. I'm not too sure what will happen. It can sometimes bring overbearing anger and sadness, like in the story about the Deathly Hallows," Harry explained.
That explains why Fred and I are always fighting.
I choked down a sob as best as I could, but when I started talking again, it came up raggedy and breathy. "What do we do, Harry?"
"I'm not even completely sure HOW this happened, let alone what to do. It's times like this I wish Dumbledore was around. Or even Sirius," Harry said, sadly.
George spoke first after a long silence. "The time turner."
Harry's brows rose. "Ron."
A/N: I'm gonna try to post every Friday from now on. We will see if it takes another year to update lol.
