I was running really fast I think. I had no idea which way I was heading but I was trying to go the way where there was little patches of sand around. Because that would lead to the beach.

It took all day to even begin to hear the ocean clashing against the island. I don't even know how but I ended up at the same place as last time. I zoned out I was on auto-pilot. I saw the chairs where Jace and dad was at but I didn't see them. I walked slowly to the chairs. And I didn't see any foot prints. I sat on one of the chairs and just relaxed. I stared at the ocean and thought about my life before all this. And how Jace wouldn't even be apart of this if I hadn't dragged him into it.

I just sat there. The whole night thinking. Until sunrise. It was beautiful, the coloring of the sky. The birds chirping, and singing. The waves hitting the island. The water washing up on the beach. And this was probably the most peaceful thing I've ever seen.

I decided that I was done and too tired for adventure. And my home wasn't far from where I was at. So I walked along the water until I saw the house. When you first go to climb up the ladder there are some berries that are safe to eat and I just picked a few, and climbed up.

The door was either jammed or locked or something was blocking it. I just kept pushing and after a while I gave up. And I just dosed off.

Sometime...

I woke up to be laying on my bed, inside my house. And I completely don't remember walking inside or anything.

It was really quite. And after a while I heard and felt something move on the bed next to me. So I jumped out and just stood there looking and observing. I finally built the courage to move the covers. And---

JACE!! Omg your okay... I went to hug him and he held me.

Where's my dad...?

He's in the chair over there sleep, so keep quite...

Wait!!.... what the hell. How'd you guys get here with out being caught?.

There was a crazy man with silver hair and he killed all the other men who were keeping us tied up. Then he took you, and me and your dad tried to break free but he just walked into the woods and left us. Only reason we're here and safe is because of Chase. He's over there with your dad sleeping... Wait why's there blood all on you?

Oh thank god and it's nothing...

That's a lot of blood to just be "nothing" Remi.

I-- I had to... Harold-- he was. Then I fell quite and kept my head down. And then my eyes began to tear up because at the moment it didn't seem like anything but now I'm realizing that I've killed (maybe) an innocent man today.

What did you do Rem?

Can you drop it please, I had to kill Har--

Jase then just pulled my arm and held me. I don't know for how long but it felt nice to be in his arms.

Sometime...

I woke up to the birds again. They were singing their beautiful and peaceful song. Then I noticed that same usual smell. The smell of smoke, of fire expanding. When I got out of bed I could barely see anything it was dark because of the smoke but bright because of the fire. I began choking and freaking out because I was still in the house. And I couldn't see my father, Chase, or jase.

REMII!! REMII??

Over here *cough*

GO TO THE DOOR!!

Dad is that you?!!

No one answers. And then I see chase run to me and climb to my shoulder. I wait at the door squinting my eyes and waiting for someone to come out... After what felt like forever, I see a body leaning on another slowly walking. Jase was the one leaning.

Jase!! What's going on?!

Hurry help me get him to the ground Rem....!

While helping jase and my dad down I didn't notice where Chase went. And I had no idea where the fire was coming from. Rather the ground was on fire or just the tree. My home. The whole area was so smokey that we could actually be in a wild fire right now and not even know.

We just kept on walking towards where we thought the ocean would be. And once we felt the water we just kept swimming until we could see each other in the moon light and see the view of the wild fire. I forgot about Chase for a few seconds and freaked out but my dad somehow had him on top of his head. We stayed there swimming, floating, waiting for the fire to die down. I held jase up so that he wouldn't drown. But if the fire didn't die down we might all drown. But then my dad pointed out that there was a cave close to the coast. But I told him to just swim and I'd follow. And that's where our next location will be, hopefully it's okay there and nothing crazy will happen. Because I think that fire wasn't accidental, I know my mom had to have commanded someone to start it. This cave might just save our lives.

It was kind of hard to swim with Jase even though he's not sleep or nothing he was just very short on breath. He said he inhaled too much smoke. So his breathing was slowed down. Once we got to the cave. We all took a breather because it was a pretty long and far swim from where we were. We planned to go deeper into the cave but we just decided to take a break and get our energy up before another long adventure.
