Chapter three (lost-of-time)

REMI!! What the hell is wrong with you? Your father said 30 seconds not 3 minutes!

3 minutes? Has it really been that long already?

Yes Rem. And when I call you, you should have came the first time. Now my dad was speeding really fast I was getting nervous but I knew we had to in order to get to where-ever we were going. Which I think was the ocean shore where my dad works.

Umm... I'm sorry. It was my fault not Remi's, I refused she just cares a lot about people that's all. In which this case I wish Jase wouldn't have spoken for he made things worse.

Well Remi knew the rules. So technically it is her fault. And how did you guys become friends? At this point my mom had no emotion.

We sit next to each other on the bus! I said.

Seems fun! My dad said. Which was weird actually. But it made Jase laugh which made me laugh. Which made my dad laugh. My mom was the only one not doing so.

When we were talking in the car we were yelling because the sirens were still going on. It was scary. I was shivering, actually because I was scared but I was chilly too, so that made it feel like it was freezing. I guess Jase realized and took his jacket off and wrapped it around me. My mom looked back and smiled at him but not me.
I was confused. She was pissing me off now. Was it because of what I said earlier that made her mad or was she just being a bitch again like most of the time. I don't know and honestly don't care much anymore.

5 minutes later...

Five minutes passed guys we'll be there in about one. My dad announced, sounding relaxed a little, not a lot.

Time goes by so slow when there's nothing going on. When we talk, time flows too fast. It's so weird. You would think that when you drive, time flies but it doesn't. Or at least not in this case.

We're here! Grab the bags follow me hurry. My dad said. He was my captain or coach at this point. He handed Jase the food and liquids which were in two b-bags. So I'm sure they were pretty heavy. I wanted to help but I had my clothes and medicine. My mom had nothing. And my dad had his and my mom's clothes.
I threw mom the medicine bag and grabbed one of the food bags off Jase's back. He didn't say thanks but by the way he looked at me was his way of saying thanks. Then we followed my dad to a big ship. It was huge. Never seen a ship up close either. Jase looked sick.

We'll be safe on this bad boy right here! Anyone sea-sick? Hahaha. My dad seemed amused. And I found myself smiling.

I looked at Jase and he looked terrified.

Jase. Are you okay?

Um... no. Either I'm sea sick or I have guilt leaving my dad behind. Jase's eyes began to tear up.

All aboard! My dad said. Sounding playful instead of serious. And I think it was pissing my mom off.

Let's settle first, then talk. I said looking him in the eyes. Which were by the way gorgeous.

How do I end up with you? First I get your number out of nowhere, which by the way I guess I don't need anymore. Your right in front of me. That's all I need. He said leaning closer.

Jase. Settle first... I said backing away, I wasn't ready.

I wasn't going for a kiss. I just wanted to see your eyes better. He smiled. Then walked inside the ship.

I did the same. And so did others.

My parents room was big. At least for a ship. And mines was okay. Dad didn't know where to put Jase. Dad was thinking he and Jase could share a room and me and mom could share a room. But I guess he knew that wasn't a good idea.
So me and Jase ended up in the room across from my parents, which was a room like my parents. Just everything was on the opposite side and our room got more sunlight. Our door was to stay open. But it always ended up shutting because we were on water of course.
I've seen Jase get dressed sometimes, I guess he don't care if I see. But when I do see him he's never naked. He always has underwear on of course. But I have seen him naked once. And he don't know that because I couldn't look away and he didn't know. I've carried guilt since. But I don't change in front of him. Because you know, hormones and boys. Can't keep them away can yah? Lol but he have seen me in my panties and bra once.
I was in the bathroom. In which our bathroom is in our rooms because ours is the master bedrooms I guess. And I have just gotten out of the shower and put them on. Then the ship jolted and I fell. So he must have heard. He ran to the door and asked if I was okay and I just looked at him embarrassed. He smiled and said I was stunning and helped me up. He held me by my waist and we starred at each other's eyes for a few seconds, then he looked sad and walked out. I never was sure why he did that, or what was wrong. Was it because of me? I don't know. Or maybe my dad said something to him. I don't worry of it much anymore.
My dad said the bombing never happened. But that doesn't make it safe either. He said we are headed to a small island off the coast of Puerto Rico. I'm nervous. He don't know when we will get there.
