Over the course of three months, Aspyn and Josh have only become closer. Tyler hasn't seemed to mind, though it's likely he'd like some time with his best friend alone. With the weather changing, and it now being winter, it's only an excuse to get Josh to spend the night whenever he's over.

"Oh, you'll get caught in the snow!"

"What if the roads are shut down?"

"You won't be able to see! Just stay the night."

All of the above are examples of words Tyler or Aspyn would speak to Josh. Another common thing would be saying that he didn't have Oreos at his house, but Aspyn and her brother did.

And, again, Aspyn found herself speaking the often words made of excuses to get Josh to stay another night in her and her brothers home.

"Oh, come on Josh. Just stay the night," she laughs, playfully nudging his shoulder with her hand.

"I don't know, I don't want to bother you guys," Josh says, laughing lightly at the girl in front of him.

"Please? I need a shopping buddy for tomorrow when I go to the store. You know Tyler won't even be awake until late afternoon," Aspyn speaks, looking up at Josh.

"Fine, only because I'm a good guy," he agrees, chuckling.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night," Aspyn says, holding back her laughter.

"Oh, burn," Josh says, pretending to be hurt.

They both laugh, throwing witty comebacks at each other, until they realize they still haven't had dinner.

"Aspyn," a voice groans from behind her.

She spins around to see her brother, Tyler, standing with a pout on his face.

"I'm hungry," he speaks, poking her arm repeatedly.

Josh stands next to Aspyn, poking her other arm just to annoy her.

"You two need to back up," Aspyn warns, laughing as she pushes the two man-childs away from her.

"I'm making spaghetti, it's literally the only thing we have," she chuckles to herself, pulling the blue box of spaghetti noodles out of the pantry.

"Oh my gosh, yes!" Tyler says, dragging out the E. He then removes himself from the room, heading towards his room where he lay on his bed, scrolling through his social media accounts.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Josh is attempting to help make dinner.

"No, you can't put them in until the water boils," Aspyn giggles from behind Josh, grabbing the noodles out of his hand.

"They'd still cook! It'd just take longer.." Josh defends himself, laughing with Aspyn.

"Could you grab the pan with the higher sides?" Aspyn asks Josh, point to a cabinet which holds the pots and pans.

Josh retrieves the pan, as requested, and watches Aspyn pour in the sauce with the ground beef she had out. He moves closer, resting his head on her shoulder.

"What're you doing?" she laughs, turning to face him.

"Oh, you know. Observing," he giggles.

"You can observe all you want, but that's not gonna get to dinner," Aspyn laughs. "You need to put the noddles in, it's boiling," she says, pointing at the pot of water.
