Aspyn?" a voice beside the girl sounds. He turns to her, his sounds of moving on the covers of the bed ruffling through the room.

She lay still, not breaking her stare at the ground, until she blinks, averting  her glossy eyes from the floor.

"Josh," she whispers, slowly moving her head to him, meeting his eyes.

"We can't-" she begins, but is cut off, due to a pair of lips on hers. He rests his hand on her hip, moving his body closer to hers. She relaxes into his grip, her hand moving up to caress his cheek.

It was like the world had stopped, in Aspyn's eyes. Her worries fled her thoughts, as she moved her lips on his. All she could think about was Josh. The feeling of his lips. Him being so close. His hand, which gently squeezed her hip every so often. The kiss, that was at one point an innocent peck, had turned into something more; multiple kisses, gentle yet passionate. To him, she was like a drug he couldn't get enough of. And to her, he was her weakness.

His eyes opened slowly, cold, winter air engulfing his uncovered arms. Pulling the blanket on his bed up, Tyler squeezes his eyes shut in hopes to fall back asleep. But he can't. His mind is racing, thoughts taking over his body. He couldn't stop it. Rolling over, he rubs his eyes, checking the time on his phone. Three forty-three, in the morning. It wasn't a rare occasion that he'd have these thoughts at this time of morning, that woke him from his sleep. Usually, his sister would be there, coaxing him into believe he's okay, and not alone. Many nights, she'd sit with him on his bed, holding him. Sometimes, she'd sing. Her voice could sooth him, it was one of the things he loves about his sister. But tonight, there was another thought. A thought, in which he told himself he didn't deserve her. Or Josh. Or his family, and other friends. His mind made him think that Aspyn didn't love him in their family way. That he shouldn't keep bothering her with his problems. But she was the only person who could help, and keep him from doing something he'd regret. He silently crept from his bed to the door, his sock-covered feet padding against the cold, wood floor.

Her door was almost shut, to where if he were to push it, it would open. She kept it like that for a reason. It was her way of showing Tyler he was welcome. Welcome to vent, and/or rant, whenever he needed to.

He brought his hand to the door, softly pushing it, peering inside the dark room. On the bed, was his best friend, and his sister, curled up as if they were the perfect fit. Their bodies molded together, as close as could be. Tyler gently grasps the door handle, pulling it towards him, letting the door almost shut before he walked back to his room. Sat on his bed, he picked up his phone. The only person he knew that would possible be up at this hour was Jenna. Constantly pulling all-nighters, just for the fun of it. He didn't want to bother her. But, he did at the same time. He wanted her attention, almost.
