The popcorn finishes popping, alerting Josh and Aspyn with the beeping of the microwave. Aspyn hops off the counter, removing the paper bag from the microwave, and shaking the contents into a bowl for her and Josh.
"It smells so good," Josh moans, shutting his eyes and rolling his head back.
Aspyn laughs, and intertwines her fingers with his. "C'mon," she says, pulling him with her as she walks towards the stairs.
"Have fun, lovebirds!" Aspyn calls out to her brother and Jenna, laughing with Josh afterward.
"Aspyn!" Jenna speaks, her face now a deep shade of pink.
Aspyn continues to laugh as she walks up the stairs, the bowl of popcorn in one hand and Josh's in another. Once they reach her room, Josh flops on her bed, waiting for her to join.
"Okay, Netflix?" Aspyn asks, looking over at her laptop.
"Sure," Josh speaks, getting comfortable on the bed.
Aspyn grabs her laptop, opening it as she sits on the bed beside Josh. She lies on her side, with a pillow propped behind her head. Josh does the same, to where he can see the screen of her laptop, which begins playing an old movie, since they couldn't find anything else.
Halfway through the movie, and a full bowl of popcorn eaten, Josh looks at Aspyn. She looks at him, then glances at the screen.
"This movie is a flop," she laughs.
"I agree," Josh chuckles.
Aspyn pauses the movie, shutting her laptop. She places it on her nightstand, then looks at Josh.
"Can you sing to me?" he asks, biting the inside of his bottom lip.
"You ask that a lot," she says, smiling. "I'm going to sound terrible, but sure. What song?"
"Anything.. What's you're favorite song?" Josh asks, his eyes sleepily looking up at hers.
"Honestly, I love any and every song you and Tyler have written," she speaks. Josh and Tyler have written many, many songs. Aspyn has helped Tyler with lyrics, and Josh did the drums. Aspyn also did a bit of piano, when helping her brother and his friend. Their band, which they call "Twenty One Pilots," isn't necessarily the most popular. However, their fame as doubled in the past year. Overwhelming for them both, but humbling.
Josh smiles, and tucks a piece of Aspyn's hair behind her ear. "What about besides Ty's songs?"
"They're your songs too, silly," Aspyn giggles. She stops to think for a moment. "I really love the song 'Cancer', by My Chemical Romance, though."
Josh smiles, and nods his head. "Go on, then," he says.
Aspyn sits up, taking a deep breath.
Turn away, if you could get me a drink, of water 'cause my lips are chapped, and faded..
She pushes Josh's hair back, off of his forehead.
Call my aunt Marie, help her gather all my things. And bury me in all my favorite colors, my sisters and my brothers..
